That he expects them to open businesses and then ‘realize the cost of government’ (in the negative) suggesting that they would actually support upper end tax cuts over gub handouts when voting.

I’m not gonna defend Rubio, we’ll wait and see how he plays it. BUT, you took his quote OUT of context. He was not talking about illegals opening businesses and then realize the cost of government, he was talking about legal Hispanics doing that, and then becoming Republican voters, thereby narrowing the GOP’s Hispanic deficit in elections.

Again, Rubio will sink or swim on his own, but you did misquote him.
