What's Next for Sarah Palin After the Break With Fox News?
ABC News ^ | January 29, 2013 | Shushannah Walshe

Sarah Palin's break up with Fox News should not have been, well, breaking news, as she had publicly complained in August on Facebook that the network had canceled her appearances at the Republican National Convention. And going back even further, Palin didn't give Fox the scoop in October 2011 when she announced she wasn't going to run for president. Still, the news of the Fox split overtook Twitter and the news cycle by storm.

One thing I've learned in my years covering Palin, which began on Aug. 29, 2008, when Sen. John McCain stunned the country by selecting her as his running mate: Everyone has an opinion on whatever she does, and she can get clicks and coverage like no one else.

The prevailing theory now is that since Palin no longer has a megaphone like Fox News through which she can blast her opinions, her moment is now officially over.

The 'Ends' of Sarah Palin

It might be true, but there have been so many "ends of Sarah Palin" that it's almost too hard to keep track of them all. She was over when she lost the 2008 campaign, she was over when she quit the Alaska governorship, she was over when she decided to do a reality show, she was over when she decided not to run for president, and now again, she's over because her appearances on Fox News are over...

Just because it worked on lesser Republicans and conservatives, they keep thinking they've finished her off.

Make no mistake, the libs and the lib media are SCARED TO DEATH of her. They know the only thing that stopped her in 2008 was john “you kids get off of my lawn!” mccain.

Breaking news for the MSM: Sarah is smarter than the Dork-in-Chief.

Again: Sarah is smarter than the Dork-in-Chief.

She earned her spurs. She is not a quota baby.

He couldn’t lift a spur. He is a quota baby.

Learn it, love it, live it.

Maybe she can go to work for Sens. Hatch and Rubio, and help move the amnesty bill forward.

Yet here you are, again, berating her “deluded followers” (your words) on a thread ABOUT Sarah Palin! People who are in the news EVERY DAY are kind of the opposite of obscure. Right?

There is only one way back. She would have to want to run for a Senate seat or something.

Otherwise, she will be ignored.

Didn’t she say something about ‘preaching and different choirs’?

Please provide us all a link to where she endorsed an amnesty bill.

I think she doesn’t enjoy it anymore.

I expect her to drop out and return to the family business in Alaska.

Truth never dies. It may be unpopular. It may threaten people. It may make people deflect from it. Yet it will never go away.

Once Sarah just spoke the truth. They tried to silence her. Then just her presence or name screamed the truth out loud. So they tried to blacken those. The more something is repressed and fought to keep away the larger it grows. She looms larger than ever. Whether it be her or the reference to her. Sarah is truth and they all know it.

Palin endorsed Hatch (over a Tea Party candidate with excellent conservative credentials, mind you). She knew what Hatch was all about when she did so.

Anyway, I never said she “endorsed” amnesty (past tense). You put those words in my mouth.

I only said she is free, now, to work for her BFF Hatch. (Isn’t that the thrust of your OP? Questioning what can Sarah do now? So I put forth an answer.)

And Orrin Hatch is CLEARLY pushing an amnesty bill.

I know it hurts, but facts are facts. Queen Sarah gave us Orrin Hatch — and Orrin Hatch is bringing us amnesty.

I don’t think so. She now has very little way to even get attention. Attention alone means little. The libs talk about her now because they are closing the book on her.

Perhaps she has decided the US is over.

She could try Dancing with the Stars. I bet the ratings would be really high. Hmmm?

Honestly, she’s not seemed happy. Her family keeps doing dumb stuff. She went through some superficial appearance changes last year.

All of that says to me: dissatisfied person.

I’ll bet the old days in Alaska with the fishing business are now “the good old days”.

Always said Sarah really didn't really want Politics as a career and preferred being a media madam...Voila...she got a Fox contract...something you do AFTER you've served.

I think she expected bigger and better....

Preaching and different choirs??? She wants to OWN & MANAGE a station...She wants to be another Ted Turner, Connie Chung and Barbara wawa all rolled into one. Ain't going to happen.
