Seems like an excellent opportunity to organize local protests by pro-Second Amendment groups

People in Tompkins county own guns? Who knew?

NY City and Upstate NY have grown so far apart over the last 50 years.

We used to share a common culture and economy, and therefore politics were more united. Now the two areas have gone in completely different directions.

It would be ideal if somehow the state could be divided. Make NY City a district, like Washington DC.

Meet them armed, just as our ancestors would have done.

If you do go, remember, that the authoritarians will be taking notes and your picture.
But if you do go, make sure to tape them and ask the cops if they will be faithful to the BOR or the commie NY governor. Everyone would like to have a list of traitors when the SHTF.

Solution:

Your protest will need at least one (possibly two) flags: One that says “Don’t tread on Me” and/or one that says “Come and Take It!”.

Your number of protesters must match or eclipse the number of people meeting inside. Protesters should remain outside - quiet, with faces covered...

... and visibly armed.

Wanna make the news? send a clear message without saying a thing?

If they (LEO and media) saw that at EVERY location that day...

... well, just think about what it could do.

I would think along with the flags, a large sign reproducing the text of the second amendment should be held up.

It’s actually only “open to the press” in any event. My suggestion is that protesters be there to greet the reporters.

Those of us who were active in the landuse wars with the BLM can tell you what you have in store NY.

These are ‘Informational meetings”. That means that you will be informed as to what you are going to do.

Period.

Very true the law as allready been passed. They didn’t listen to the voters before it was pass. I don’t think they will listen to talk now.

Because no one has any clue as to what this law means. The morons even forgot to exclude LEOs from its provisions.
