During a city council meeting in Oak Harbor, WA a veteran who served in, Afghanistan speaks spontaneously in favor of the 2nd Amendment and causes a liberal whiner on the council to get up and leave when he is not allowed to violate his oath of office.

Watch this video as Councilman Rick Almberg makes his play for You Tube immortality (which he deserves) by asking his fellow council members to join him in violating their oaths of office and at the same time deny a citizen his constitutional rights.

After Almberg's motion fails Mayor Scott Dudley gives a measured and heartfelt comment about the responsibility elected officials are supposed to take seriously.
