Feinstein Gun Control Bill to Exempt Government Officials

Not everyone will have to abide by Senator Dianne Feinstein's gun control bill. If the proposed legislation becomes law, government officials and others will be exempt.

"Mrs. Feinstein's measure would exempt more than 2,200 types of hunting and sporting rifles; guns manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action; and weapons used by government officials, law enforcement and retired law enforcement personnel," the Washington Times reports.

WHAT is so special about “retired police personnel” that they get a special dispensation from our laws?

I smell a Giant Loophole!!!

Get someone like Sheriff Joe to Deputize you and then about a minute later you “retire”, screw you Feinstein!

You don’t. It’s a choice. You either choose to comply, or you don’t.

There’s consequences, sure; how many are willing to bear them? That’s the question.

But there is always the choice. Nobody can ever take that away.

And it’s the same choice as the Founding Fathers and the ordinary folks of their day who just wanted to live out their lives, raise their families according to their belief in God, love their land and Country, and be left the hell alone had to face. Same as us, here, now.

And they agonized over it, same as us, here, now.

It’s all pretty simple when you put it in perspective.

We’re here, we live, we do some things, and then we die. Hopefully, the things we do are good things that leave the world a little better than what we inherited.

And we inherited a pretty damned fine place, paid for in blood and lives.

We owe it to those people who paid that bill to make sure that it’s STILL here after us.

Might be a simplistic way of seeing things...but I’ve found that the simple view is often the right one...

Exactly right - force being the operative word. Even if the majority of gun owners chose to buckle to such an unconstitutional gun grab, those who didn't would still far outnumber the federal jackboots.

I was wondering yesterday with the prayer, if they are attempting to sett up God?

Are they trying to undermind people’s faith in God. Here a man of the cloth ,prayed for God to control guns, and when it doesn’t pass into law- will they blame God?

Will they claim there is no God? Will they erode people’s faith and then swoop in to save them?

I believe that is part of this drama.

You know, I agree. Some form of a revolution or civil war is going to come again. Not sure just how soon, depends on when the piled and piled upon finally say enough and revolt.

Perhaps they fear them...They have training, and maybe some contacts, and access to personal information on most of the sticky butted politicians that are destroying our country...that and a powerful union that would use that info for their benefit....maybe..?? they wouldn't want to make them mad... Blackmail always works on a politician...!! "Political leverage," as they say...

I think all of us need to once again read his words and give them serious thought...there is little doubt that revolt is coming...We're just waiting for George Washington to show himself...I really believe our Constitution will survive intact...But its going to cost the blood of patriots to make it so.....
