Feinstein Opens Gun Control Presser with Prayer by Clergyman
‘The gun lobby is not match for the cross lobby.”

11:28 AM, JAN 24, 2013
BY MICHAEL WARREN

The Very Rev. Gary Hall, dean of the National Cathedral in Washington, said Thursday morning that “people of faith” should come together to fight for gun control against the “gun lobby.” In his opening remarks at a press conference on gun control organized by California Democrat Dianne Feinstein, Hall spoke about the influence of the so-called gun lobby in Washington. “Now, everyone in this city seems to live in terror of the gun lobby,” Hall said. “But I believe the gun lobby is no match for the cross lobby.” Watch the video below:..

Obama Censors God From Thanksgiving Address
BY PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY

It’s hard to believe but, for the fourth straight year, President Obama insulted Americans by omitting any thanks to God from his Thanksgiving Day address. He did thank God in his printed Thanksgiving Proclamation, but in his Thanksgiving address, which he personally read in November from the teleprompter into a camera, Obama continued his practice of deliberately omitting any mention of God. He said that Thanksgiving is “a time to give thanks for each other,” and for our “blessings,” and for “the ability to spend time with the ones we love,” and several other things, but God didn’t make it onto the list. Obama didn’t say where our “blessings” come from. Obama thus ignored the central message of the great and unique American holiday, Thanksgiving.

President Obama’s peculiar attitude toward religion and his animosity toward public expressions of religious faith are so conspicuous that they are a cause of concern to many Americans. ...

Would a patriotic law abiding citizen get this treatment? I don’t think you would get “special” permission. Radical left wing extremists wishing to subvert the constitution and strip us of our rights. No problemo. Can we help you carry those weapons of mass destruction in for you. Sure, just grab that shoulder fired anti-aircraft weapon will ya?

Pretty disgusted! Wow is that an understatement.

Molon labe.

I am pretty sure that any laws DiFi broke were written with a clause granting immunity to politicians grandstanding on the Senate floor.

Posession of those weapons violates D.C.'s gun laws. Watching the video, the weapons were kept behind the ropes, and there were a number of DC and Capitol police around. My guess is that, after the David Gregory controversy, Feinstein's people were careful to make sure that she never actually possessed the weapons.

Well, see, DiFi, being one of the elite, doesn’t need to abide by the laws that are intended to protect the less enlightened from their own benightedness.

That’s why Michelle can eat a 5000 calorie lunch while limiting growing highschoolers to 1500 calories. She knows better and can control herself to only indulge once in a while.

Actually, the Constitution grants immunity to politicians grandstanding on the Senate floor, through the "speech or debate" clause. Not sure if that applies here, though, since I think possession of the weapons on display (if indeed she possessed them) would be a felony, and the speech or debate clause doesn't grant immunity for felonies.
