I have to admit I laughed at a few things, but I also think we don’t need to be at each other either. You may not think we’re allies, but India and the west has been allied for a long time. I am Canadian and I even have a Lee Enfield stamped India circa 1911.
You guys have a history of warfare with the muslims, whether or not diving out of a car in the direction of a flash is good advice or not is a moot point. We have a common enemy, and we should be focused on that rather than throwing stuff around at each other.

No argumentation there. It would be good if more people on the lower side of 49th parallel can develop just about enough intelligence to tell or even care about the difference between Indians and Pakistanis. There would be no stopping us from becoming allies. But I am not holding my breath for it.

There is a lot of anti-American sentiment around the world, lots in Canada too, it angers me because we’ve been allies for so long for starters. Also, the nuclear deterrent during the cold war kept the free world safe. I know many intelligent Americans, and I would even dare to say that when folks call Americans stupid and simple and what have you, I think they are confusing leftists for actual Americans.
Whenever people call Americans that, there is usually a very good reason behind it and not just out of blatant anti-American sentiment. And I am not even really talking about some random stupid commentators running their mouth on this thread. I am talking about people at higher level who make policy decisions.
How do you explain America gifting hi-tech weapons along with military aid to a rouge country like Pakistan even as they were acquiring nukes? Do Americans hate India that much? I dont know. The only other reason I can possibly see is that American politicians are stupid. Stone cold retarded stupid. Liberals, democrats, republicans, conservatives....all of them.
And then of course you have your random fastmouth cowboy commentors with massive hubris. Got plenty their valuable 2 cents to toss around, their actual lack of knowledge on the subject notwithstanding. This is where you are sadly mistaken. Politicians are all flocks of feather regardless of whether the color is blue or red. It wasn’t Clinton who gave the Pakis F-16s it was Bush. Politicians play liberal or conservative depending on their political opportunity. Its a very old game.
