Does Fox News now have an All-Amnesty lineup? Looks like it. Sean Hannity and Bill OReilly have now fallen in line behind World Citizen Rupert Murdochs support of sweeping, generous immigration reform, including a path to citizenship. Karl Rove was always on board, of course.
What about Fox News viewers? Are they going to go along like sheep? They now have no network that represents their perspective on what seems to be a key issue for Obamas second term. Is it time for a new Fox? (Wouldnt it be time for a new Fox anyway? That lineup has been stale for years.)
P.S.: Is there any other issue in American politics where the medias coverage is so one-sided? Even non-PC newspapers are eager to expand Latino readershiptheyve been in a GOP-like panic about not offending Latinos for years. (When was the last time an L.A. Times editor sent a reporter to interview construction workers whod permanently lost their middle class jobs to cheaper undocumented labor?) Public radio stations get grants to broadcast Latino content, often drearily didactic and inevitably pro-amnesty. Now even the opposition isnt in opposition. I look forward to vigorous balanced debates between pro-amnesty Democrats and pro-amnesty Marco Rubio throughout the spring...

Haven’t watched FOX news since Rove’s disaster at the last election. And since they added Dennis Kookcinich, a virtually unemployable, worthless, boob to their lineup, it’ll be a cold day in hell before I watch that station.
I guess there really is NO alternative to the libtard press anymore.
I think they got Holder’d. Too bad the Judge got axed.
I have already stop watching since Obama won. I’m sick and tired of them too.
They don’t like being on the perceived losing side and are willing to throw away their core beliefs in order to get some hispanics to vote for them and to take one argument away from liberals. They do this to feather their own nests, increase their viewing/listening audiences and to gain, what they think is, issue relevance. They have all lost whatever connection they had with common working, tax paying America. Somebody needs to test the water in DC and NYC...there’s some bad stuff in it as far as I can tell.
I was in Florida and just happened to hear Marco Rubio explain his immigration plan for dealing with illegal immigrants. I don’t know if that was repeated on Fox or not, because I wasn’t watching while visiting family.
Rubio’s was the most reasonable and most likely to gain acceptance that I’ve heard.
1. Control border
2. Grant illegals green cards.
3. Deport/imprison any criminal aliens (crimes other than illegal status itself.)
4. Require any future naturalization filings to be behind those already in line who are legally filing.
5. (Unsure of memory on this one) Require interspersing with legal applicants rather than overwhelming of year groups.
I don’t consider that a bad plan, and especially if the alternative is to continue as we currently are, which I think is the actual desire of many politicians and businessmen.
Fox has also gone over to the gun-bashers side as well, with virtually universal support of “Common Sense Gun Laws”.
Are you referring to Judge Andrew Napolitano?
Is he no longer with FNC?
Any legislation that legalizes the status of those who broke our laws by entering our country illegally and allows them to stay and work here is amnesty. We must not only prevent the Democrats and some moderate Republicans from hijacking the meaning of the word amnesty, but the public must be made aware about the true impact of an amnesty. The Heritage Foundation concluded that the cost of amnesty would be $2.6 trillion just for increased entitlement program costs for those receiving an amnesty. And the number of additional LEGAL immigrants who would join those who were the recipients of amnesty through chain migration, i.e., family reunification, would approach 70 million over a 20-year period, assuming there are only 12 million illegal aliens. We cannot assimilate such numbers. An amnesty would destroy the United States of America with the stroke of a pen.
President Eisenhower was somehow able to deport almost all of the illegal aliens of his period. Have we changed so much since then? I was born during the waning days of his administration and I’m 52.
Network and cable news is all agenda all the time. If you want the truth, you’re going to have to find it yourself.
There is NO conservative news network. Why do we continue to finance the left? Cancel your cable.
This is the best analysis of immigration I’ve seen. If you have a few minutes check it out...

Yup, no longer watch Fox.
TV is dead, as a far as I am concerned.
Hannity - and his cohorts, led us into RINOmney...who I personally thought was a fine man...but who was in no way prepared to deal with the sludge, sleeze, and obamastuff thrown at him by the Obamadork.
We need a network that’s mean, nasty and lethal - to deal with the most retarded, intellectually inferior, fake, and dishonest piece of excrement ever to infect our White House.
I watched this a few years ago. It is absolutely dismal in the prospects of what immigration, legal immigration, is doing to this country. The influx of illegals makes the problem only worse - much much worse.
Once we have a nation with a high percentage of people who do not respect the law (like our president) and refuse to assimilate into our culture (like speaking English) then this unconstitutional government will be given free reign to just ignore whatever laws get in the way.
We welcome those who come here to contribute and to learn our ways but I have no use whatsoever for scum who come here illegally.
He left out a couple of necessary items: a well guarded WALL, land mines and NO ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS. Bill Mexico for any costs incurred by the U.S. in dealing with illegals (take it out of their foreign aid).
Since so many actually desire NOTHING to be done, some for political reasons and others for low wage menial labor reasons, the desire to have deportation, 2DV, is not going to happen.
I believe they’ll try to blow up Rubio’s plan to keep the status quo, but Rubio’s plan has the possibility of gaining enough support to counter the opposition. There’s no doubt, however, that they’ll blow up the “straight deportation” plan, and that plan has zero political power at this time.
That doesn’t mean you’re plan is wrong — in a fair world, I agree with it — it just means that it isn’t likely, imho.
I haven’t watched any news network or network news in forever it seems
This could make one wonder who in this country, other than the Democrat Party, could possibly profit from more low information voters within their constituency.
I’m sure there are better explanations. It was the most popular explanation when I did a search.
I then "BINGed" up foreign aid to Mexico. As of July 2011 it was only $757.7 million, making Mexico the eighth largest recipient of uncle's generousity with OUR money.
We reduced our cable bill and got rid of a lot of the stuff we don’t watch..including Fox. We are reviewing the situation of going antenna and just one internet connections.
I haven’t paid attention much to Rubio’s plan, but your outline meets my standards. The simple fact is that there is a need to act on this issue. Ignoring it is making the situation worse. Mass deportation is physically unlikely and politically impossible.
As long as those here today don’t get any preference over others going through the process, providing a temporary work visa and having them get in the back of the line for the same immigration process as everyone else, I have absolutely no problem with that. In fact, it is a reasonable solution. Yes, those here illegally broke the law, but we allowed easy access and our system encouraged it for decades. Now, we have to find a practical solution.
I do agree with others. This has to be tied to a real solution to protecting the border...a combination of walls and high tech security.
Fox News is history as far as fair and balanced goes. Juan Williams, Dennis Kucinich, Bill Kristol, and even Brit Hume is now drinking the kool-aid. Sean Hannity is being watered down, O’Reilly is a bore. FNN is a waste of time.
I’m no statistical wizard but everytime I read that a “majority” of people feel a certain way or a book is a “best seller” or a certain TV show is “popular”, I remember that the population of the US is approximately
350 million people, give or take, and measure the returns against that stat.
So when I see O’Reilly pulls in just over a million viewers and is LEADING the TV pack, I think a lot of people have tuned out the “media”...
that could be a good thing or a bad thing.
Judge Napolitano is still with Fox News.
I think Judge Napolitano is still around, but perhaps not as often as he once was. I saw him on F&F a few weeks back.
It’s possible to be in favor of a Constitutional, legal, open immigration policy and still be a conservative. Indeed, many libertarian economists—whose adherence to limited government and free enterprise is beyond question—argue that open immigration is the best and most small-government option.
That having been said, we should, as Milton Friedman said, make it impossible for immigrants to receive welfare.
I am for amnesty.
I wouldn’t put illegals in jail, I would forgive them, and then send them back to where they legally reside.
No sense cluttering up our prisons and paying for their room and board.
bobo

I am not a TV watching person, but just turned it on to Fox and they announced he is coming up with an opinion.
I heard he was gone, but guess he is back for the third time..... He was fired 2x prior.
Almost immediately after the Nov 2012 election, Sean Hannity declared his thinking on immigration had “evolved.” It was pretty obvious that Fox management expected all their on-air talent to get with the pro-illegal program. We have a Fox-free zone now.
The crucial difference between then and now being in those days whites were a People not a mere demographic and Ike was backed by the electorate. We were great in those days having just won the war. As a great people we were capable of exclusion as all great people are exclusive. The Mexican was afraid of us as he knew we were capable of forcibly removing him. As a mere demographic interests have changed the "Third World" are "jes folks tryin to make a buck." Eating, drinking, drugging, copulating, evacuating the bowels, snoring and the games are to days interests. The Mexican is no longer afraid of us as he has seen we have no will, no sense of unity. Americans no longer move as one hence we are prey and the Third World wolves are circling.
According to Jones at youtube link above there were 3 reasons why Napolitano was fired from his sucessful show on Fox Business (with others of his ilk to follow shortly):
1. Political preasure aka blackmail from the WHut and Soros - Fox is now spinning out of control.
2. His videos on youtube were too sucessful. Fox Business could not compete.
3. Claimed that 9/11 was a fruad omn the Jones Show. He said the official story was a government lie according to 6 of the nine Commisioners on 911. Soros called for his firing in letters to Fox.
Amazing observation! Personally, I haven’t watched FAUX News for over 2 years.
Brit Hume (once a vocal critic of Clinto) has been drinking KoolAide since his son died during the early Clinton years. Brit changed his tune right quickly - now he was, then he wasn’t. Very startling.
Same here. Have not been able to watch FNC since last November. Just cannot take it. BOR is Ted Baxter on steroids. Shep Smith should be on MSNBS. Bob Beckel and Juan Williams are insufferable and obnoxious. Would rather watch Andrew Zimmern eating bugs, or Anthony Bourdain dispatching a pig on the Travel Channel, or Bobo squatching on Anmimal planet, but my favorite these days is The Military Channel, especially enjoy the shows on WWII tank battles.
“Judge Napolitano is still with Fox News.”
But his sucessfull Fox Business show was canceled - that is the issue.
SecondAmendment ~:” Fox has also gone over to the gun-bashers side as well, with virtually universal support of Common Sense Gun Laws. “
Once you start to tinker with the Constitution , what’s to stop you from tinkering more , and more,..
until it no longer stands as the “Law of the Land” ??
Right now , we have NO ONE in Federal Office who respects the Constitution !
Immigration same thing ~ when citizenship means nothing to those who are sworn to uphold enforce the Constitution ,
who then upholds and enforces the Constitution ? Who is responsible, or accountable ?
Right now , we have a collusion of the media with Government - so that legitimate issues don’t get publicly aired !
We have no televised voice to the Conservative values
How else can you reach the uninformed or underinformed voters ?
Right now , the Conservative voice is relegated to the radio airwaves .
We are preaching to ourselves !!
Even some of those voices have already become ‘tainted ‘ by trying to appeal to the more RHINO philosophy .
If you want to effectively get the Conservative voice out - you have to get in front of the general uncommitted voter.
Fox used to be part of that voice ~ not any more !
If I remember right, the Judge had a regular program which is no longer in existence. I guess Fox just calls upon him when needed.
I like the guy. I suppose his no-nonsense approach offends the wussies. Personally, I believe this country would be better off with more like him. We need someone to tell it like it is.
I quit right after the '08 election and tired of it long before that, but just couldn't give it up. What was turning me off (and still does) is the way the shows are setup. Right vs. left. If a commentator was on the right, they espoused right viewpoints, left espoused left. In many cases, the arguments are specious or you can tell the person doesn't really believe what they are saying. It's like sports. Take a side and cheer your team. The content and the importance of the content is lost in the staging. It's merely cheap entertainment.
What about right and wrong? Critical thinking? Thinking for ones self?
When I do turn the news on to watch a current event, such as storm coverage, I feel like I have to trade 10 IQ points for every half hour I suffer through.
Marco Rubio was just meeting with United Farm Workers UNION seeing what they wanted in his Illegal Alien Amnesty bill
Rubio’s Plan is all Amnesty. He is an Amnesty Liberal
On the other hand they signed up Rove for another four years which surprised the bejabbers out of me. I have not seen nor heard from Dick Morris since his disaster.
Conservatism took a major body blow this last election. The blow may even have been fatal. Hence, once again- the whole country moved left and FOX will like wise move left-RATINGS!
Brit Hume was nearly fired from Fox News because of his constant fighting in studio with his ex wife, who was a producer when he hosted Special Report. His fellow coworkers considered Hume to be an a......um, something smelly you wipe in the bathroom. He lost SR host gig...but kept as a FNC contributor.
RE: my favorite these days is The Military Channel
Agree!!!
Rubio’s plan is effective amnesty. It will created 10’s of millions of new, government-dependent Americans and add an insurmountable millions more of Democrat votes.
Amnesty is a non issue till the borders are closed. Period. We all worry about it too much. Close the borders. Then deal with it. I’m surely not pro amnesty, but I am a realist, Until we stop the flow into the country there is no reason to worry about the the flow out. my2cents
Both the Dems and the GOPe are pushing for an amnesty bill this year. That’s reality.
