“Don’t let the lobbyists win” should be the rallying call of Barack Obama to congress when he unveils wide-ranging measures aimed at curbing gun violence. Following the shooting of 27 people, including 12 children, at a school in Newton Connecticut at the end of last year, the gun debate has been at the top of most people’s discussion list and congress has to seriously consider the measures Obama is set to propose – similar to those passed in New York on Tuesday. In addressing these measures, congress cannot let powerful lobbying groups such as the NRA sway them with various incentives; they have to think what the people want, and they have to think about what is right and best for the people of America.

While I do a lot of commentary I post very rarely. I didn’t know one had to stand by and respond to comments when I did so. I frankly find almost allways those comments (are responding to the demo-coms assertion) don’t provide much strategic insight into a campaign direction except to prove the dominance and effectivness driven by what I call the mainline socialist media .What those miners are getting out of FR unfortunately is that confirmation.
If I posted something and responded to them honestly I’d be the most hated man in FR. For my comments offering a different insight or direction are rarely reviewed or commented upon and when they are the comment is not about my direction but usually about a previous comment made by the responder. Here is an example
.Conservatives and supporters of the 2nd amendment the Obama regime is using the 2nd amendment argument to blame gun owners for its inability to deal with the hundreds of gangland murders and shootings commited in areas under their solid control using illegally obtained firearms. Their solution to those inner city problems is to remove those rights provided by the constitution to have and bear arms from all US citizens.
None of those 19 so called “reforms” and unconstitutional efforts being edicted by who some call an emporer do not deal with the following issues briefly outlined below . They won’t because instead of creating a uniformly democratic society where every citizen has an equal voice no matter what their race or ethnicity.
Their policies have grouped races and ethnic groups by gerrymandering congressional districts where much of this criminal activity occurs.
GOPES {goverment of the people (republican party) elites} see this issue as a 3rd rail because most of it is black on black or illegal vs illegal (Mexican) activity . GOPES are also afraid to say that policy may have also increased racial tension but again GOPES accept this because of the influence of mainline socialist media which would be accusing them of “racism” if they dare to question it.

And if you’d read what we said instead of screaming at us not to shoot the messenger you’d have understood why we were so interested in hearing what obsnob had to say about the article.

Nothing is more irritating than coming into a thread, reading the article, and having teh thread originator sit quietly saying nothing.
That gets rather suspicious after several repetitions.
Usually we get proven right by whiney screeds on other sites about how horrible we are that we don’t allow liberals to post here.
