I think this may be a bogus report that Lyons said any such thing. I wanted to find a reputable source for it so I could quote it on my Facebook page for all my Huffpo fan friends, but I can’t find the money quote at all. I went to the Washington Examiner website and looked for Lyons, James Lyons, James A. Lyons, etc., and also looked at search results for Benghazi, and I can’t find this supposed article that this blogger took the Lyons “quotes” from. I did find a very good op-ed by Lyons at this URL: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jan/11/the-key-benghazi-questions-still-unanswered/ — but it doesn’t say what the article here says that he said. Has anyone else tried to validate this report? Thanks!

We need to take responsibility as card carrying members of the New Media get off our asses and do shit.
Also, conservatism IS civilization. Liberalism is chaos, violence and intimidation. If you imitate the enemy you are no better than he. The path to winning is by taking away the MSMs money. Brilliant stuff here. We need an overall plan to take down the msm/DBM/ dnc and the socialists dems. Shooting at our own guys is not the plan.
Pinging, but at this point, I am not sure why.
Thanks for your service.
Keep the faith, Mesta.
It must be frustrating to keep an eye out for all the info, and see how many in our elected .gov prefer to be blind, dumb, and deaf.
All we can do is pray for justice, and keep track of the truth, so far as we can find it.
Now in his last “legal” term of office, I don’t think Obama has anything to lose by starting a war in our country.I also believe he thinks his side would win.
I think there might be more the story then this.
I truly believe the only way to remove Obama and his thugs is our military. Our politicians, justices are not doing their job.
Rita, see my second post on this, #41. I don’t think Lyons said any such thing (though he did say some other stuff worth repeating, at the link I cite). I think this report is bogus.
This might give you some of the answers to what was being discussed in Benghazi. It is my guess that the final dispositions of the Saudi weapons were being discussed in Benghazi and that is the reason that the meeting was not held at the embassy.
The Reagan and Bush administrations have Obama Administration has denied the allegations.
In announcing the probe, House Speaker Thomas Foley, D-Wash. John Boehner (R-Ohio) . . . said that committees . . . will review the case based on `persistent and disturbing' reports.
`We have no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but the seriousness of these allegations, and the weight of circumstantial information, compel an effort to establish the facts,' read a joint statement from Foley Boehner . . .
The president raised the specter of political motives, but said that he did not think the . . . Democratic Republican leaders intended to conduct such a proceeding.
`If they're got some evidence, and it's hard evidence and not just based on outrageously flimsy sources, fine,' said Bush Obama, adding that he hoped the affair would not develop into a `wild goose chase.'
"I agree with the President," said Speaker Boehner. "The case is closed."
