With his usual flair, Donald Trump set the record straight on his feud with Bill Mahr, the Miss Alabama controversy, the recent handling of the fiscal crisis by Congress and the next presidential election, in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.
Trump explained that Mahr had appeared on the Jay Leno Show, said that Trump had been “spawned by orangutans” and made an offer of $5 million for Trump to produce his birth certificate. Since the money would go to charity, Trump accepted the offer and produced legal paperwork required to fulfill the obligations.

I’d be surprised if Bill Maher even has $5M in cash. Sure, a lot of these celebs have some good inflow but with their high living expenses (booze, women, etc.) I bet many of them have high debts and are hand-to-mouth. Isn’t that why so many of them are tax cheats?

Hey Maher offered to pay the money for his birth certificate on national TV and Trump produced the goods. I say hold his feet to the fire just as he would conservatives. I wish a good conservative comedian that’s a little over the top and obnoxious would dish it back to him. That might not work because if the guy’s obnoxious he’s probably a liberal. Oh well Trump can at least make Maher pay attorney fees and irritate the crap out of him if nothing else.
Would like to see nothing more than REPTILE MAN forking over $5,000,000.00 out of his bank.

I would to, and I'd seriously doubt that holding Maher to his offer would have much legal weight. But between defamation of character, and the offer, I hope Trump gets Maher to settle for at least a significant contribution to charity even if it's a lot less than $5 million.

I hope that Donald Trump goes after Bill Mahr and sues the hell out of him, to collect on Bill Mahr's rash $5 million wager. Maybe next time, Bill Mahr will pause for a second before he opens his crude, vulgar mouth and attacks another conservative or even just a moderate Repub.

Trump needs to come out and say that the HI state registrar has certified a letter of verification indirectly confirming that Obama’s HI birth certificate is legally non-valid and that the White House image is a forgery to hide that fact.

Not sure if you could sue Maher personally since he works for a company, where he probably has civil liability insurance. So, suing Maher in essence is suing the TV station (s) who’s lawyer’s would defend Maher. The trick would be to pierce the corporate vale and go after Maher and make him pay for attorneys, courts etc.
The question is what does he know about unilateral contracts. If Trump follows through on his threat, Mahr is going to know a lot more about them than he does now.
Maher needs to be bayonetted in the thighs, something really,really, painful.

You used Bill Maher and the word "women" in the same sentence as if the two things are in any way related.
I am no fan of Trump, but if he can make Maher spend tons of money on lawyers and drag him through the legal system, then I encourage him.
The extreme left does this all the time via the ACLU, etc...threaten lawsuits or actually goes through with lawsuits on innocent people....
The difference is, Maher actually made a claim and now he has to abide by it or face a suit.
