Chicago Teachers Union President: ‘Off With Their Heads!’ By Elizabeth Harrington January 9, 2013
(CNSNews.com) – Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis said union opponents “think nothing about killing us” and that “wealth disparity” in America today mirrors the 19th century when labor leaders then used to be “ready to kill,” to chop people’s heads off.
“We are at a moment when the wealth disparity in this country is very reminiscent of the robber-baron ages,” Lewis said at the Illinois Labor History Society on Jan. 5. “The labor leaders of that time, though, were ready to kill — just really, like, off with their heads!”
“They were seriously talking about that,” she said.
“Well, hold on,” she said to laughter. “I don’t think we’re at that point.”
“And that’s scary to most people,” Lewis continued. “But the key is that they think nothing about killing us.”
“They think nothing about putting our people in harm’s way, they think nothing about lethal working conditions,” she said. “One thing that was interesting to me is that during the strike I cannot tell you how many people came up to me and said, ‘What do you mean the schools are not all air-conditioned?’”
“There is a disconnect,” Lewis said. “There is a disconnect in our country from how some of us live and how other people live.”

I wonder if these people shrivel up at night.
I am sure there is a huge difference in the way she lives compared to the families in the schools she represents. And no air conditioning in some of the schools? what the hell did people do in the region before air conditioning? I bet the all just laid down and cried instead of going on with life. And the fact that they are in a dangerous situation, it’s the liberals in charge of our children who brought this about. You reap what you sow.
Do all these union officials go to the same school in order to learn this schtick? They all sound like something from a really old and badly written movie script. The hysteria, the screeching, the violent rhetoric . . . they frankly all strike me as mentally ill and perhaps could benefit from medication.

I went to school in IL and we never had any air conditioning. The school day and year were longer then than now. We also did a lot more PE and football practice started in early Aug. We weren’t allowed to wear shorts..etc.
Nice pic . . . notice how glum they all look? They’re full of p*** and vinegar, and the bitterness seeps through their every pore. All that union cash and they’re still unhappy.

I wouldn’t doubt it.... the sad part is that they get the attention from their outrageous comments, and in a sane world they should be punished or chastised.
