A top Taliban leader who quarrelled with other militant factions over his refusal to attack the Pakistani government was killed by an unmanned US drone , security officials have claimed.

Mullah Nazir was reportedly holding a meeting at the time of the missile strike with other senior leaders of his group in a building in Birmil in South Waziristan, one of the troubled tribal regions where the Taliban, al-Qaida and other militant groups have based themselves.

Reuters, citing a number of different security sources, reported Nazir's deputy commander, Ratta Khan, was also killed, along with eight others.

I wonder how many women and children Obama killed in this strike?

Libtards are worlds biggest hypocrites...if this was Bush they would call him a war criminal...and warmonger

Instead Obama is a brilliant CINC

On the record...I like drones killing these vermin, except for the fact it will empower Obama to think domestically...

They always say we killed a “commander”. Must be code word for school kids. CIA just practicing for home down range.

I think Taliban Commander may have taken overtaken Fisher as the most dangerous occupation.

Oh my God, Kenny, we killed a “good” Taliban and his pet Ratta. Oh the horror of it all!

I thought “Ratta” was something Sylvester Stallone ate in “Demolition Man”.

Well, “Ratta Khan” is now “Ratta Kan’t”. RIP = Ratta in pieces

I wonder if they had “Allstate Insurance” on their house?

I assume he’ll be buried at sea.

“quarrelled with other militant factions over his refusal to attack the Pakistani government”

Though attacking the Pakistani government arguably has merit, it is counter to the policy of the US government. So when his even more radical enemies passed us a mash note with his location, did anyone weigh the ramifications, or just dial up another assassination?

Drone strikes are enormously unpopular in Pakistan

I'll just bet they are...especially if you're in the cross-hairs.
