No fan here of Cornel West, but — in respectful disagreement with my fellow posters here — I have to say that the Professor has a point.
Even a broken clock is correct twice daily.
Hell, Rush Limbaugh said the other day that the Libs in the MSM do not care about people being killed in bad neighborhoods.
West is ratifying what Limbaugh said.
I think a lot of folks in here are giving vent to knee-jerk reactions.
West is completely correct: Almost 500 blacks killed in Chicago in 2012 — and no hue and cry in the MSM for “meaningful action on gun control.” Twenty kids in upscale CT are murdered, and it is a complete red alert.
This is a pro-life site. Lives are precious. All lives. How is West incorrect in this one limited instance?
