You should have been disabused of that notion the first time they honored obama with an honorary degree while at the same time they were have elderly priests thrown in jail for having the temerity to say the Holy Rosary on campus property. As far as this lifetime Catholic is concerned Notre Dame is now Notre Shame.

The priest arrested at the demand of the heathens running Notre Shame was Fr. Norman U. Weslin. He passed away in May 2012. He was a hero of the Faith with few contemporary peers, if any.
Obama made them cover all crosses/crucifix while he was on campus.
I'm mostly in Notre Dame's corner but coverings just because of Obama really chapped me.
ND will have to win me back before I wear the real ND t-shirts again.
