Being 70 didn’t hurt Reagan. Hillary was born October 26, 1947. She will just turn 69 in 2016 just weeks before election day. So for most of the campaign she will be 68. I don’t see her as lacking energy and her handlers will make sure that her appearances create just the opposite effect. Our first woman President will just be another historic election (and victory) for the Dems against the party of old white men.

The cover-ups will be complete IF (a) the media remain lapdogs head in sand, (b) no GOP Congressman [Hello Darrell Issa..]raises hell, and (c) no one goes to Court to press for a special prosecutor.

On the latter, you need a “crime” so go with Fast & Furious and get the SP started.

The crimes in Benghazi could include illegal gun running to rebels (AQ) from CIA and State.

The Woods’ family civil suit for lack of protection may provide discovery to open this up.

Issa already has a suit pending on contempt against Holder.
But precedent says executive privilege has to yield when there is a “criminal” case pending. Open question whether Congressional ‘fishing expedition’ counts.

We need whistle-blowers. How has there not been any leaks from or interviews with the 20+ embassy/counsular staff who were saved in Benghazi?

Remember, the Watergate deal coverup held until federal Judge Sirica handed down stiff sentences to the burglars, and James McCord, for one, stated to crack.

30 rd mags seem to work pretty good.

100’s weigh a bunch and are bulky, and may jam more easily. Might be good for a mounded rifle.

60’s ? similar to 100’s. Tape together 2 30s.

That all said, the second amendment recognizes arms (and militia in the same breath). Militia is not muzzle loading single shots. Militia is defined by the current state of military. They get it; we get it. ergo 200-rd or belt-fed, whatever I can “bear”.

He was just beside himself was he not?

Gregory couldn't get the NRA to budge 1 inch. His frustration showed. ;^)

Since I enjoyed your speculations I’ll respond.

We will, of course, “see”.

I know women in their early 70’s who look fine. Frankly, what’s Nancy Pelosi, mid to upper 70;s?

She looks great, takes care, primps, has many courtesans handle her. A Speaker or even Minority Leader of the House just can’t go around looking like....well like Hillary.

Looks count. There is no more dapper man on the planet than John Boehner.

Come time for Hillary to run, our population will be even older than it is now. Lots of those voters are older rather than younger and I think that will be a factor.

I am nowhere near convinced that the far left who will have advanced their agenda so far come end of Obama term will support what they’ll likely consider a throwback, such as Hillary be perceived.

But hey, the arguments were good ones.

We’ll see.

They have to point to the guns to keep from looking at the shooters and why? That would damage their communist utopian argument. These boys are facing hopelessness in the land of Hope and Change.

They are more concerned with making sure the word Christmas is banished than why kids are doing desperate acts.

Merry Christmas

"LaPierre said to hire an armed guard at every school. Of course, that’s not likely, if not impossible."

Remember when Bill Clinton came out with his '100,000 new cops' plan to help curb crime? IIRC, the press loved it. This should be brought up when people start dissing the NRA's plan.

She is early 70s, cough cough! One year behind me in school, she had a beautiful mother and good-looking father. She learned her political skills from both of them.

Well you are getting dangerously close to judging my heart, but no problem :) Did I at any point say I did not care? I was also mocking Chris Wallace and the atrocious media coverage of the tragic event.

The media should be focusing on the murders of young children that take place everyday at abortion clinics, was my main point, but they dont care.

Yes what took place in NEWTOWN was NOT worse than the abortions that took place on same day

Anybody that watched wall to wall coverage of that event, has a problem IMHO

Yes there will be more abortions performed in most US States tomorrow morning than lost their lives tragically in Newtown.

I was also tying it into Rick Warren saying...”I AM PRO LIFE BUT”

The conversation I was talking about all focused around Warren...He said that there are more important things than just pro life, I guess to justify his vote for Obama.

Arkansas Congressman elect Tom Cotton just eviscerated Chuck Hagel on Fox. Very impressive young man who led men in the 101st Airborne in Iraq. Maybe there is hope for America.

Hillary was also a lock in 2008 when she was younger and healthier.

Now she's falling and she can't get up. Physically she'll be an even bigger hot mess 4 years from now. Don't underestimate the general public’s distaste of a heavyset 70 year old woman representing their nation.

There was no armed guard on duty at Columbine when the assault started. There were a couple of cops who were stationed there part time. One of them responded to 911 call and engaged Kliebold with rounds. This almost certainly saved lives because Kliebolds gun jammed while he was engaged with this cop. The WH lies, the media lies. That should always be your default position.

Paraphrasing General Patton, the object is to make the other sumbitch to die for his country.

We will agree to disagree. Hillary will be the first woman President of the United States. No matter who the Dems nominate in 2016 will win, but Hillary will be the strongest and best candidate the Dems could nominate. And imagine, they have already elected the first black President. Now for the 53% of the electorate, a woman President.

A blessed Christ mas to all.

The only way I see to change the course of this now socialist govt is to shut it down in any way available. Congress should go home, having done their job of submitting pertinent bills, and leave the senate to their predictable cowardly approach to governing by inaction.

There is no point in worrying over what the socialist democrat media will say about anything. They will pitch the Republicans as villains and the socialist democrats as either saviors or victims, and/or both, as the situation calls for. Principle is all that the Republicans have left to guide them. Black and white might be harsh, and gray is useful for moderation, but a stark line in the sand is upon us and no time for dithering. This socialist administration is in full destruction mode of this Republic's very existence. When all is said and done, only our congress has the power and means to do anything permanent about it. In short, cut off the money. Maybe submit a bill of impeachment for Obama which will accent the seriousness of congressional resolve to take back control of this country for themselves and the US citizens who elected them.

Nice to know. The idea of Hagel at Defense and Kerry at State makes me think that the USA is entering a stage similar to Europe in the 1930s.
