Use 1st amendment and protect 2nd amendment. Overwhelm it. Tell everyone you know to sign petition.
Deport British Citizen Piers Morgan for Attacking 2nd Amendment.
19,919 signatures needed by January 20. 5,081 signatures made.

I have no desire to put my name on yet another white house list. Agree with the effort though.
Absurd. We should not deport someone for “speech” unless it’s violent speech. Having a different ideology isn’t a crime. This mocks the 1st amendment.
Thanks Morris70.
As if there’s any power behind these polls, but hey, FReep it anyway:
Deport British Citizen Piers Morgan for Attacking 2nd Amendment

It’s all free speech.
He’s not for my right to bear arms, and I am not for his right to speak freely.
He can go live in England if he is so against guns.
Deport him.
Oh, who cares? He’s a creep and a non-citizen.
Doesn’t the 1st protect the right to speak out against the 2nd? Piers and others have said things we don’t like or agree with but the consequence shouldn’t putting a muzzle on him or booting him out. He’s exposed himself as anti-American so let the natural consequence of a further dwindling audience be his reward.
Piers probably loves all this pot-clanging from the right, it’s like a liberal merit badge. Don’t give this clown the individual attention he craves. Rightfully reduce him and his ilk to an anti-rights, anti-freedom stereotype. That’ll probably irritate the heck out of him.
Personally, if he is a British Citizen and NOT an American Citizen, then my belief is that the First Amendment does not apply to him. He should seek redress of his grievances from his own country. Wait, he’s not welcomed there because of faking reports about British soldiers in Afghanistan.
“Absurd. We should not deport someone for “speech” unless itâs violent speech. Having a different ideology isn’t a crime. This mocks the 1st amendment.”
Exactly — well said!
This petition mocks conservatives, that they only believe in free speech with which they agree.
If CNN had any sense, they would dump him. Wait, they don’t have any sense.
Justice Scalia would ask you, “how come the First Amendment refers to ‘people,’ instead of ‘citizens,’ then?”
It’s okay if he asks. It is my opinion. There is plenty of other precedent for different treatment for citizens vs. foreigners.
I understand the sentiment behind this petition but I won’t sign it.
That segment was dreadful and shameful, but he has the right to his opinion.
The best thing is just not to watch, which most people don’t do anyway. I venture to guess that only a small number even know who he is.
You have your opinion, I have mine. It is no different that not allowing foreigners to vote, or avail themselves of our publically funded service - at least it used to be.
Decades ago, before a legal immigrant to this country could enter it, someone had to warrant that the entrant would not become a public burden. I had to certify this for my wife.
You can word game it all you want, but I suspect if the Founding Fathers were alive today and saw what is going, they would be very much clearer in what they said.
I remember many, many, years ago when the Daily Mirror circulation was six million daily, a statement about it's technique and style. It was to the effect that many of the revered columnists did not "believe half of what they wrote". It was further stated that the object was to have readers "choke with rage over their breakfast as they read these columnists".
Morgan will have a shrewed eye on the figures, relating to viewership of his CNN program. He cares not for any tragedy and is simply trying to milk it for all it is worth.
It is not for me to say whether he should be deported though, not being a citizen. What I do say is that the man fits the description of being a subversive. That being someone who tries to change the laws and the system that creates those laws. A rough definition I will concede.
I think he likes to "push buttons".
The way I see it is this: People have every right to start a petition calling for the deportation of someone on the basis of exercising their right to free speech, and the government has a responsibility to ignore it for being completely unconstitutional.
Of course, you are free to your opinion [pun intended]. It simply does not hold up very well in the eyes of the law. And someone with the mind of Scalia (sadly, I’m not so smart) would be greatly amused at the suggestion he is playing “word games.”
Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Would you sign a petition if Piers Morgan was using his platform at CNN to ban the 1st Amendmemt?
OK, BK it.....bye
Whoa there, cowboy. In your hypothetical, is Morgan advocating for another Amendment, or is he engaging in sedition?
The fascist snake was tossed out of the journalist business in Britian for knowingly pushing fake photos of soldiers abusing Iraqis as “news.”
CNN picks up and employs the Brit’s journalistic trash. He fits right in with the little commie diversity, Soledad O’Brien.
Isn’t there some child abuse perverts the BBC wants to get rid of? CNN is waiting in the wings for any and all manipulative, dark and ignorant losers.
The way I see it, he is a foreigner attacking the Constitution while on our soil. He should be deported.
And I’ll ask again, is he attacking the Constitution with small arms and RPG’s, or with words?
So are you defending a foreigner advocating gun confiscation while on our soil?
These petitions are the equivalent of giving a child a toy steering wheel in a car so they can pretend to be driving it just like the big people do.
Brilliant idea by the Obama Administration to get people to waste their time.
Signed and bumped.
Are you saying we don’t have the freedom of speech to call for Morgan’s deportation? Interesting.
With all due respect, I believe there are no British Citizens. They are, rather, “Subjects of The Crown”. That would go a long way towards explaining the submissive attitude of Mr. Morgan, he is a subject. Our Forefathers shed blood, to lift that yoke from upon them. I truly think that the men of that era were “The Greatest Generation”, no disrespect to the World War II era Americans. Thank you.
Piers was the wrong choice to host that show. I laugh out loud when that limey starts talking about the 2nd Amendment.
So, these are not God given rights that belong to all men?
Legally?
No.
Gun Control. Please contact your Democratic leadership and call for unilaterally disarmement.
My fellow moon-bats, er, progressives. I plea that you, er, we, contact our legislators and begin to draft legislation for the unilateral disarmament of all our fellow democrats and associated constituencies. I.e. Gangsters, Federal employees, Unions, The Downtrodden etc., you know, the usual suspects. Pass a resolution demonstrating your, er, our good faith. RESOLVED: It is hereby understood that to own a firearm is dangerous and immoral. Furthermore our best strategy is to follow our Dear Leader, Chairman O, and lead from our behinds. Therefor effective immediately you, er we will hand in our firearms and other such defensive weapons of potential mass destruction, fertilizer, gasoline, matches. Thank you for your time.
You don’t strengthen the Constitutional right to bear arms by eviscerating the Constitutional right to free speech.
Sounds like he might have been emulating Dan Rather's pushing fake documents alleging that George W. Bush was AWOL from the Air Force National Guard.
Seems as if the Brit MSM may have less tolerance for fraudsters like him than CBS had for Rather.
Yes they are but..
Headline?
President Obama wins another..
SCOTUS: Inalienable Rights Are Unconstitutional
Inalienable rights are religion.. only human rights granted by government are Constitutional.

I would be happy if someone would simply kick his limey ass, preferably on his TV show.
Instead of petitioning for the deportation of this British blowhard, we can be more effective by boycotting his show and the whole CNN lineup. (I suspect a lot of us already have pretty much done so.)
Even as a non-citizen, he has a right to say pretty much any nonsense he wishes over the airwaves, provided he doesn't directly advocate killing or violence or the immediate overthrow of the government.
But let's check that he isn't voting in our elections nor making political contributions in the United States, both of which he is barred from doing by law.
Lookit, I know petitions don't mean a damm legally. Furthermore, I don't care if the 2nd amendment applies to him or not.
But let me say this.....any petition with thousands of names including a media "celebrity" name inspiring the petition will actually get a modicum of attention....from the internet media, from the conservative media....from many in CNN's audience....and from the Brit Twit himself.
So I'm going to have some fun by signing my name and I'm not going to twist myself into a pretzel thinking of every academic reason not to sign.
We deserve to have some lightness once in a while....and poking our collective fingers at that lightweight prig of a socialist talk host is going to make my day.
Leni
Traitor.
Nobody watches his show anyway. If CNN gets enough complaints, they might tell him to shut up. Considering his borderline criminal past, they can’t be too proud of him anyway.
It’s just a public condemnation.
Nothing will come of it except everyone’s right
to exercise free speech in a public forum against a visitor who publicly incited discourse to the laws of the land they were visiting.
Two people from UK visiting the US were deported this year for posting on twitter they were going to destroy the US. Any of us did the same police would investigate the seriousness of the threat and make charges if appropriate .
All visitors to the US are given the same protection as any citizen.
Rights given to citizens aren’t necessarily given
to any visitor.
Idiot. Get out of my way, so I can save the country.
Oh lordy, we're doomed.
Grandiose much?
