This was Pelosi’s plan before it was Boneheads.

Democrats were never good-faith negotiators during this entire process, and Boehner wasn't aware of that. He had blinders on that everyone's word was good.

You would think he was the stupidest man in DC, but he was devious enough to screw conservatives out of committee positions. The guy is Pierre Laval.

Maybe Bonehead and Cantor can Water Board these folks to get
the outcome u want. The night is still young and I hear DC has plenty
of water.
Threatening committee assignments and chairmanships did not seem
to work. It’s time for Bonehead and Cantor to bring up Plan C...Water Boarding.

So now what. Will Boehner try and work a deal with the Rats and enough liberal Republicans to get something through next week? Or will he do nothing, let the tax increases and sequester take effect along with somebody else as Speaker to worry about what next? or what?

RE :”Either they have to come up with a deal which gets House Dems on board, this current bill comes to the floor again, or we go over the cliff.”

Yes we go over the cliff. Our Taxes go up.
Visualize this : After taxes go up thanks to this defeat Voters scream at Republicans for raising their taxes, as with the FICA standoff a year ago..
EVENTUALLY Republicans are willing to pass anything to reverse even part of it as with the Budget control act.

See once the taxes go up and people notice it then any bill passed even to $100K is a tax cut, so the GOP can accept any piece of crap O demands.

But you are right, the details have yet to unfold.

You've drunk the koolaid.

Boehner is not the dark, sadistic, shadowy figure the MSM has succeeded in making you and the sheeple think he is.

Guess what...they define every GOP leader the way they want. And people like you eat it up.

The night is still young. Bonehead and Cantor can still break out the
Water Boarding to get the outcome you desire. Call Bonehead and
tell him to break out the Water Boards. There is still time to crush
these rebels.

The fact this moron Bonehead went into a vote, not knowing if he had
the votes to actually pass is a example of his non leadership skills.

You mean the Gingrich who announced today that he thinks gay marriage should be the law of the land?

You want that Gingrich as Speaker again, eh?

We need a Speaker who can restore the legislative process. I've said for two years that Boehner shouldn't be taking on Obama directly. All he's doing is making Obama look presidential and Boehner look small and weak.

The Speaker should be taking on the do-nothing Senate and Harry Reid. We know why Reid hasn't moved any legislation forward - it's because anything he does will instantly be labeled the Democrat position. They feel it's better to just keep whacking away at the Republican position because the MSM will never call them on not having a Democrat position to debate.

The Speaker should force Reid to have to work with Obama. Make the MSM talk about that, instead.

Boehner wasted all this time, and then pulled out the long knives on his own team.

I told you and some others here that this Plan B would backfire big time.
And it backfired big time. What type of leader schedules a vote, not knowing if the votes are there? A leader that needs to be replaced.
Call Bonehead and beg him to break out the Water Boards. There is
still time to put these rebels in their place.

Blah, blah, blah. Put up a better one who can win. Put up or shut up.
