There have been a lot of factual errors in the chaotic rush to get details about today’s shooting in Connecticut. But one fact that seemed established across the board was that victim Nancy Lanza, the mother of alleged shooter Adam Lanza, was a teacher at the Sandy Hook Elementary School — specifically that it was her class that Adam Lanza massacred.
But this story just out in the Journal suggests that’s not true.
Oddly, it’s buried down at the bottom of the story, almost as an afterthought …
A former school board official in Newtown called into question earlier reports that Nancy Lanza had been connected to Sandy Hook Elementary School, possibly as part of the teaching staff.
“No one has heard of her,” said Lillian Bittman, who served on the local school board until 2011. “Teachers don’t know her.”

Adam had some of Ryan’s ID on him so the cops thought it was Ryan.
You know this morning they said he had a high powered rifle in his trunk of his car i haven’t heard a word about that since 2 pm it’s like it was never mentioned !
Did the mom own a high powered rifle too?
Yes, she was shot in the face at home. I have been watching this on both Fox and CNN since it happened; stayed in my chair all day and the news was changing by the minute as new info. knocked out the last info.. It’s been that way all day. It’s calmed down now with exact numbers and who got killed where. At one time, the news was the brother was dead, then the father was dead. Now, we know both the father and brother are okay.
They said that his girlfriend and friend of i guess his girlfriend are missing to any word on them yet seems our locals are 24 hours ahead of being behind ...
The district where I attended school is small enough that even a classroom assistant would be known to the board. It might be different in bigger cities but I don’t know anything about Newtown CT.
Remember years ago when the MSM said that there should be no internet reporters since they don’t check their facts before publishing?

I have watched both Fox and CNN all day and have not heard one word about a girl friend or anyone else missing.
What is odd is that so many hours later .. we still don’t know.
What I heard is that they lock :the school at 9:30, and the shooting started at 9:40. So he could have been in before they locked down.
It was on a Bottom runner across channel 5 here in cincinati local WKRC but the 11 o-clock and 10 o-clock news locals have said nothing as of yet i don’t have satellite or cable so ....
Newtown has 4 elementary schools, 1 intermediate, 1 middle and 1 high school. Small, but big enough that it’s possible a teacher’s aide wouldn’t be known to a school board member. I tend to think Sandy Hook E.S. won’t open again too soon. Maybe next school year, possible next semester.

The murderer’s mother may have had a electronic pass card/badge to get in the school. The murderer may have used that. No need to be buzzed in.

The obvious solution is to get rid of public schools and endorse home schooling.
My thought also. They spent a lot of money to put this system in two weeks ago but they let just anyone come into the school? That doesn't make much sense. Someone had to have known this guy.
seems like the TV networks were all racing on ‘who could get the information on Ct shooting’ out first!!!
Meghan Kelly seemed like she wanted to look sad but wanted to be FIRST with announcements, like election night...just made me ill to watch...so tonight I turned off TV..heard enough, saw enough...time to lets the families handle this their way not the MSM.

This guy chose that school for a reason, could have chosen any school but chose that one..his mother had a connection to that school which we will find out. What drives a madman, who knows..but maybe he felt that his mother cared more about those children in that school then him..he chose to massacre that particular classroom for a reason
Watching them babies try to explain what was going on in that school just breaks your heart them babies shouldn’t have to go through anything remotely like that i was blubbering
