What everyone is ignoring is.where was obamo for the full seven hours? Probably went to bed early or watching a movie or otherwise not fully engaged when it was actually happening....

Hopefully the Clinton appearance before Congress will start to fill in the timeline.

Where was clinton when she learned of the attack?

What did she do and where did she watch the video?

What rescue plans were discussed?

and

Who gave what orders concerning the military plans to rescue our men?

You're right. That's a distinct possibility. Delegating by default decision-making to subordinates, as yet unnamed. He is lazy.

The entire episode is a sham. John Kerry will now be nominated, and the cowardly Senate will approve him. Just think, a traitor as Secretary of State.

Bingo:

What has Obama got to fear over Benghazi? According to the press it never happened.

Who is going to do anything about it?

Has Speaker Boehner even mentioned it? It’s a dead issue. People here who beleve it will haunt Obama’s second term must be forgetting that things haunted his first term , but nothing was ever done about it.

Personally I believe if Kerry is nominated the Senate Republicans will fall all over themselves saying what a great guy their colleague is.

State Dept: Clinton may not testify on Benghazi next week

"The ARB's responsibility is to brief the secretary. The secretary has said she will be transparent to Congress," Nuland said. "What is required, Josh, is that the secretary's response to the ARB's conclusions has to go to Congress within 90 days of her receiving the report."

She hasn't received the ARB report yet. It's been delayed.

Yep.

"And the GOP senators who were most hostile to Rice — John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, and, later, Susan Collins of Maine — all have said they would welcome Kerry as Secretary of State."

A Red Carpet for Radicals at the White House by Steve Emerson and John Rossomando IPT News - October 21, 2012

A year-long investigation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has found that scores of known radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the Obama White House, meeting with top administration officials.

Court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations.

Dems Tap Radical Islamists for Cash by STEVEN EMERSON AND JOHN ROSSOMANDO IPT News - November 1, 2012

“The Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi headlined a Democratic Party fundraiser with leaders of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood front groups in May of this year.”

“Senior Democratic Party establishment figures seem intent on engaging and accommodating these new and sometimes radical elements in their party as an up-and-coming new constituency and money source. Most mainstream Democrats, have yet to grasp the full extent of their party’s infiltration.”

I am thinking more along the lines of what Glenn Beck calls the Overton Window. Obamussolini put out the name of someone so over the top that his real pick, John Ghenghis Khan Kerry, seems perfectly acceptable by comparison.

Supposedly, Obama was the only one who could ask for the trans-border authority to bring support onto the scene. And maybe he didn’t do it, or did it and it was refused by whatever country he requested it of, so he just shrugged and went to bed and left these people to die.

But it seems as if there was already some kind of support there, from drones if nothing else, and in any case, when it suits him in checking off names on his kill-list (inconvenient jihadis who are rivals of his favorite jihadis), he doesn’t appear to care much about borders. So that would make it seem as if perhaps somebody asked his permission to use the assets they already had, and he either denied it or refused to answer.

Even so, I’m not sure that would be enough. People would just say that he didn’t understand the situation because he had been misled by his advisers, or that he had greater goals of some sort (remember, Obama is godlike to these people).

Actually, looking back at the above scenarios, I’d think that the most damning would be the one where he never actually gave an answer, and just went off to bed so he’d be fresh in the morning for his campaign tour. He never appears in any photos of the famous “situation room,” although Hillary and some of the other people he’s tried to use seem to have been there. So perhaps he did just go put on his jammies and refuse to answer the knock on his door.

I remember there was one curious statement that came out from the WH early on: there was a delay of several hours between the first attack (the one that killed the Ambassador and his aide) and the second one (where the SEALS were killed), so Obama thought it was over. In other words, he wasn’t particularly bothered by the fact that the Ambassador was (at that point) missing and the aide was known to be dead, and once the immediate shooting was over, he just went to bed and probably left orders that he not be disturbed until morning. He’s known to be very spiteful and vindictive, so the other people there were no doubt afraid to disturb him when the second attack broke out.

FNC showed a poll this morning that had Kerry favored by more than wanted Rice, but Kerry’s number was only 23% or something like that, whereas 37% wanted “someone else” and 18% were “don’t know.” So the support for Kerry is underwhelming, outside the Senate.

I think French-looking elitist gigolo surrender monkey John Kerry is the perfect choice for Obama’s SOS.
