On MSNBC this afternoon, Rev. Jesse Jackson called for workers across the nation to hold a major one day strike in protest of the new ‘right-to-work’ laws that passed in Michigan today.

“I never thought it would go this far north,” a disappointed Jackson said about the right-to-work movement. “And, yet, these workers in this state must fight back and draw a line in the sand.”

Jackson called for a “major strike,” and a “major march on Washington.”

“It’s time for a massive, dissident, direct action to bring about the ship in the flow of the wind,” he added.

Yep. Nothing in this law, that I have read, stops people fro unionizing or joining a union voluntarily, it does not stop collective bargaining, it does not do anything the left claims

It simply makes joining a union voluntarily instead of forced.

Good call Rev. In the meantime, what are you going to do about the right to work laws?

As ye sow, so shall ye reap. It’s a whirlwind, jess. Reap that.

He’s upset because others have a right to work now. He needs to go home and take care of his bipolar son and stay out of the affairs of others. Going mental his son still has a wayward father. Nothing will lasso him in.

He must be finished destroying someone else’s son in Florida. At 71, he’s still hell bent on being an instigator.

I’d say the old man “assisted” him too much already, and that might be why Junior is in the mess he’s in.

I don’t disagree. Always open to the possibility of redemptive behavior. Frequently disappointed.

“Why is Jesse so upset? He never worked a day in his life.”

A reverend with no church, a politician who never held office and the SOB is a multi millionaire. Go figure. Pimping pays I guess

This is just the first skirmish in the coming battles between the "haves" and "have-nots", and the reason gun and ammo sales are at record levels.

When those who have been living large at the expense of others find out that Taxpayers are saying "no more free rides", we can expect all Hell to break loose. Unions, subsidized by Taxpayers, and money-laundering Dues to the DNC has grown to where they are over-paid/under-producing parasites, and now they are realizing that people are tired of their extortion and lack of responsible performance.

“Here come Jesse getting another 15 vminutes after his son had to quit the Congress in disgrace.”

How do you figure that? He won re-election without campaigning, while in detox, and even if he goes to jail will be set for life afterwards. What a great country, what a great family!!!

In our glorious fight for civil rights, we must guard against being fooled by false slogans, such as ‘right to work.’ It is a law to rob us of our civil rights and job rights.... Wherever these laws have been passed, wages are lower, job opportunities are fewer....

And the students will have to pay attention in economics class ;)

Yeah, Jesse, I’m sure a whole slew of illegal strikes across the nation will engender a whole passel of sympathy for unions.

Perhaps Mr. Jackson’s time would be better spent assisting his son.

Exactly...He may be able to help his son but these union thugs are beyond help.
