ORLANDO, Fla. —

A group of Walmart workers spent Black Friday protesting at several Central Florida Walmart stores.

They were demonstrating against what they call unfair working conditions.

Alex Rivera, a former Walmart employee, said he lost his job a couple months ago after trying to get some of his workers to join in a walk-out on Black Friday.

"Only because I was speaking out about their wages and the way they were treating their employees, they were retaliating against me and after that they fired me," said Rivera.

"The protestors said they had every intention of sending a message to the company with a silent protest inside the store on Goldenrod Road, but as they walked off the bus, protestors were told they would be arrested if they even tried."

Obviously trespassing and disrupting others inside the store is illegal.

People in the “media” who actually believe that these “protesters” were Walmart employees need to lighten up on the happy smoke.

“”Only because I was speaking out about their wages and the way they were treating their employees”

Then quit and go to another job where you are happy. That’s the way it has been since the concept of business was formed.

Some of the news coverage is just like all those occupy communists, a few liberal white people. I went to my local Walmart to see if there were any loons protesting, but alas, none were there. Too bad, I would have liked to give them a piece of my mind, and vent some post-election anger. Maybe next time.

We really are getting to the point where there are more stories about the Walmart protests than there are Walmart protestors. It’s the written equivalent of the photographer’s trick of getting low and tight on 6 people to make a place look crowded.

Loathsome.

I say fire the bunch, and hire some illegals that want those high paying jobs.

And on top of everything else, they're hypocrites too.

"They work here all year long, it's right for them to get paid," said shopper Victor Carbone.

When asked why he still comes to shop at Walmart, Carbone responded, "I come here because of their prices."

False headlines from the left. As usual, the unions see Walmart as a plumb that would change them from a wheezing, dieing corpse into a force to control America.

The unions protested not the Walmart workers.

I suspect Mr. Rivera was fired because he was a sub standard worker who spent more time causing disruptions than he ever did in performing his job. 99% 0f union employees are good workers, but as a former supervisor of UAW (U R Worthless) employees I spent 95% of my time with the 1% who wanted a paycheck, but not a job. In other words, perfect democRATs!

Viewing the WFTV video link, I noticed newly re-elected scumbag alan grayson at the :41 portion of the clip.
Why was there no mention of him in the newscast, Hmm?

***I suspect Mr. Rivera was fired because he was a sub standard worker who spent more time causing disruptions than he ever did in performing his job.***

Sounds like a union “plant”. Union man hires in, talk Union, get fired, Union sues. We had quite a few of these try at our company years ago.

Problem was, the unions sent in the most incompetent people to get fired, and the company proved that they were fired because of their incompetence.
