This season of Christmas has been celebrated as such since this nation was founded. Now, this growing secular nation wants nothing to do with “Christ” in anything. Yes, this is a concerted attempt to remove him completely from our lives. It will NOT happen at our house. All the Christmas songs sung by secular artists had no problem with Christmas. I will NEVER refer to it as the “holidays”. It is a denial of our remembrance of the Christ child who came into the world, lived a sinless life, and died on a cross for the sins of the world. That fact is not a popular one in today’s secular culture but it’s still true and though the world wants to deny him, one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD.

There certainly was an American Christian contingent who felt the modern celebration of the Nativity to be too reminiscent of idolatry — and that was the glory of the religious freedom of the country, that they were perfectly welcome to refrain from things Christmas.

Never mind that He was probably conceived on Hannukah and born in September during the Feast of Tabernacles.

Christmas is a made-up holiday, which I love to celebrate. But I would rather we live it all year long rather than expecting a secular world the pretend to be pious a couple of weeks in December.

thank you for seeing a bigger picture about this.

Seems some think this is just about Christmas and being PC to non Christians or those who celebrate traditions and Christmas and not understand how the left wants to take the word out of Christ at every chance.

I wish some would wake the hell up that is if some are not trolls or the usual typical idiots whon think homosexuals should marry because it is not a big deal and cannot see a bigger picture and agenda

“This season of Christmas has been celebrated as such since this nation was founded.”

IIRC, the Pilgrims were very anti-Christmas. They were anti-Catholic, objected to the “...mas” (mass), and looked on the holiday as pagan. They “loosened up” after a few decades.

Amen and Amen. Thank you both for saying what you've said.
