Well I hope he gets another job. You may have to move though. I think that most people who are unemployed for a long time are people who want to stay int the town they grew up in. Those days are over. Go to Texas or somewhere that is hiring. You will do fine as long as you are not selfish and demand to stay in your small town.

Amen. Moved from a teeny town in central Georgia (lived in Ga all my life, in that house for as long as my kids have been alive, it was sad to move from all they new and family) down to south Florida for a better paying job. Costs more to live here, but steady income and health insurance is priceless.

I have family in Michigan. Back in the 90s, I tried to convince my brother to look for work out of state. He wouldn’t do it.

If he wasn't one of the strikers I,too,hope he gets another job.If he *was* a striker I hope that he and his family *starve*.After all,actions *do* have consequences.
