Just a few minutes ago on CNN, Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported that a high-placed source informed her that former CIA Chief David Petraeus will use his upcoming testimony to amend his previous testimony. According to this source, Petraeus will tell the closed door congressional hearing that he knew "almost immediately" that the September 11 anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack committed by the al-Qaeda-linked militia Ansar Al Sharia.

Rush seems to think that nothing game changing will come of anyone’s testimony...particularly the General’s.He makes a good case for that position...fear,loyalty,embarrassment.Anyone who does give testimony damaging to Osama will feel a wrath containing features of “Chicago politics” and Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals”.

Whatever Patreaus said or did not say had nothing to do with the guy who made the “movie” which of cousre no one has ever seen. Only the 14 minute trailor on Youtube which some Egyptian sheikh put up there. The guy who “made” it was partners with a Palestinian jihadist. Neither is clean, and it is obvious that the administration put them up to it. The guy is in jail to keep investigators away from him. He’s probably very stupid and would reveal too much even by accident.

It is entirely possible, though speculative , that the owhitehouse was blackmailing the General. The general put himself in this position due to his own moral terpritude. He could have just told the truth in the first place. Testify to the affair, blackmail, and then truthfully document the attack. He would have been home free. Instead...lies. Then a rethink, presser, and resignation.

Not sure who is telling the truth, but I'm leaning towards Petraeus.
