Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., responded to President Obama’s challenge that he “go after me” over the Benghazi attack by declaring him either incompetent or corrupt and suggesting he is not taking the attack seriously.
“This president — this administration — has either been guilty of colossal incompetence or been engaged in a coverup, neither of which is acceptable to the American people,” McCain said on the Senate floor today. “I speak as a friend of Christopher Stevens, I speak as a person who knows something about warfare, I speak as something of an authority — that this attack could have been prevented if the information on the ground had been taken into consideration.”
Stevens, the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, was killed during a terrorist attack on September 11, 2012, that the president and his team originally portrayed as an outburst that grew out of a protest against an anti-Islam Youtube video. Stevens and the U.S. mission to Libya repeatedly requested extra security as they faced 13 separate security threats in the lead-up to the attack, but those requests were denied.
McCain called for a congressional Select Committee to investigate the attack and the administration response. “There clearly is a need because there is a huge credibility gap among the American people because of the [contradictory statements about the attacks] beginning with the President of the United States,” McCain said. “What did the president know? When did he know about it? And what did he do about it?”
With that sequence of questions, Obama’s 2008 opponent echoed the question posed by Sen. Sam Baker, R-Tenn., during the Watergate investigation that brought down Richard Nixon.

There are too many immoral and stupid Americans now, that I fear that even this scandal, leaving American patriots on the battlefield to die, would not hurt 0bama’s popularity. Let’s face it, if 0bama raped a 3 year child on live TV, over 95% of blacks would still vote for 0bama. 0bama is a sick cult figure for a sick, pathetic nation of selfish drones.
I'm not sure where McCain found this bit of resolve, but I hope he keeps it up for four years.

NO - the Conservatives. It's time to stop already. We must all stand together as one voice. Put aside all the negatives.
There is a lot that can be done & we can do it together. The ones that need the criticism is Obama & his thugs.
Just remember that just about one half of the country voted with us & without voter fraud - maybe more than that. They will support things that need to be taken care of to make the next 4 years at least tolerable.

Stevens was supposed to be kidnapped and then redeemed by the release of the blind sheik. The Muslim Brotherhood reneged on their deal with Obama. Obama thought Arabs were going to honor a deal they made with a black man. Guess again. Arabs buy and sell black men. How historically ignorant is Obama?

This will blow over as soon as n0bama reveals his next outrageous & shiny object. This regime has had so many impeachable offenses that we just can’t stay focused long enough to make anything stick.
Yeah, we are supposed to believe that Rice did not listen to the Presidents Rose Garden presentation where apparently he blamed the terrorists. It occurred toward the end of his presentation in a broad wide kinda liberal paint brush sort of way.
I fear there are no men of conscience left in DC. It is all about ego and pettiness.
McCain played nice and sucked up to 0bama so long as he got the ego stroking and attention he needed. Now, someone has ticked him off, so he talks tough for a few minutes and gets some air time and media attention. That will feed the ego for a while and he will forget about this until the next time someone fails to stroke his ego.
As obamacare sets in, unemployment ticks up and the stock market continues to tank followed by another downgrade, the rats will start to panic as their own assets and portfolios start to crash.
“I agree with Obama he is the one who told Susan Rice what to say , and like the rest of his puppets she has no mind of her own. Indeed it is Obama who came up with the lie and then swore to it.”
Actually, I’m sure that bat-faced viper ValJar told Rice what to say. Zero is an accomplished liar, but only when he is told what to say. His next original thought will be his first!

I think you are spot on. Remember this is the guy that was going to sit down with Iran and fix everything. The Rodney King foreign policy. Healing the planet and lowering the oceans.
It’s hard to choose his biggest defect, there are so many, but right now if I had to pick one, it is that he has no idea how stupid he really is. He really thinks he’s competent. He’s not even average. Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic.
Although McCain did say tonight that Benghazi is a centipede that has many more shoes to drop. Maybe McCain will stay focused.

Maybe McCain realizes he is not going to live forever and is going to do the right thing for once. I can dream...
