Allen won't seek office again

ALEXANDRIA -- Defeated Republican U.S.Senate candidate George Allen said Monday he will not seek elective office again.

"I'm grateful for the support, generosity and the votes of over 1.7 million people, but I have no intention of running for office again,'' Allen said during a 45-minute interview in his Alexandria office.

Simply put, he sounds and looks like one of the slower characters from the Andy Griffith show.

"Many immigrants in NoVa remember “Macaca” and voted against him.

And a lot of Conservatives remember that he couldn't stop apologizing. He couldn't fight. He just curled up in a ball and let the Dems and their agent The Washington Post kick him all over the field. He should have never run again IMO.
