During Tuesday’s broadcast, Glenn Beck delved into the developing sex scandal involving David Petraeus, former director of the CIA. The former four-star general resigned his CIA post last week after acknowledging an extramarital affair.
However, the timing of his resignation — just days before he was scheduled to testify before Congress about the Benghazi terrorist attack — seems a little too coincidental, Beck explained.
“Petraeus was set to be the key witness in the Benghazi testimony this week,” he said. “But wouldn’t you know it, the FBI…accidentally stumbled upon some private emails and determined that he was having an affair.”
“What are the odds?”

And its gotten even more bizarre since then with the news of the investigation of General Allen and the possibility that the White House is looking at Mike Rogers (R) to head the CIA.

Obama is going to attempt to pin the Benghazi failure on his spooks. Spooks absolutely DETEST being thrown under the bus. And they are not shy about seeking revenge on their bosses (see: Valerie Plame). This is a pre-emptive shot across the bow from Obama that “you try this, and I’ll get you and your little dog too”.

Exactly!!! I notice this pattern. I cannot believe my eyes that I am witnessing all this before seeing the destruction of this once great nation.
If Rogers really is on the short list to head the CIA, I think its a sign of desperation from the White House. Rogers has been pretty aggressive in pursuit of the truth in this matter and I have a hard time seeing it as anything more than a bribe.
He’d be a good man to have in that position but not till this is all cleared up.
I recall this little historical nugget: The Blomberg–Fritsch Affair were two related scandals in early 1938 that resulted in the subjugation of the German Armed Forces (Wehrmacht) to dictator Adolf Hitler. Hitler had been dissatisfied with these two highest-ranking military officials and regarded them as too hesitant towards the war preparations he demanded. Numerous other generals were moved about. Most important, Hitler took personal command of the armed forces through the new Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW) using General Wilhelm Keitel as his subservient aide.

I’m afraid you’re right. We’re also so engaged in this new scandal that the scandals of voter fraud fail to make it even into the back pages.

Just a coincidence that since the embassy attack the CO of AFRICOM is relieved, the CO of the carrier strike group in the Middle East is relieved and the CIA director’s resignation is requested? I’d like to see Beck put this on the chalk board.

Agreed. The CIA likely has all the goods on Obama. It takes just one Mitch Rapp to bring the house of cards down. Spooks are not to be taken lightly - or advantage of.
To add, its very apparent that once Petraeus was promoted by Obama, he became a mouth piece for the master himself. Petraeus has been nothing more than an administration puppet since that time, which make me believe he was set up from the get go.

I’ve questioned it numerous times. The nature of the extramarital affair could have been a non-sexual “romantic friendship.”

I thought the “Night of the Long Knives” was when Hitler had the SS round up and execute Ernst Rohm and the leaders of the SA.

remember maggief there is more to the issue of sex- Clinton I never had sex with that woman. it may be suspect that there is more than just a roll in the hay. he may have received a extra incentive in light of surgical procedures - implants and other issues - that allowed other aspects to be more pronounced. Not mean to be disgusting but there are many males that get a penile implant. Belief that their manhood is within the size of the appendage.

Valerie Jarrett put out a general warning days before the election. Implementation has started at the top. Who knows how far it will go.
