O’REILLY LAMBASTES OBAMA & ‘SECULAR PROGRESSIVES’ WHO ARE ‘BENT ON DESTROYING
The Blaze ^ | November 13, 2012

Posted on 11/13/2012 5:25:55 AM PST by NYer

On Monday night, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly had some tough words for secular progressives, highlighting their purportedly dangerous views on social and economic issues. The subject of his “Talking Points Memo” segment asked, “Is traditional America gone for good?”

The popular television host commenced the segment by noting his belief that traditional America can, once again, rise to prominence, however, he contended that “it will take a very special person to make that happen.” To corroborate O’Reilly’s point that the nation may, indeed, bounce back to its traditional roots, he noted that, despite winning re-election, Obama is slipping in popularity.

“Left-wing ideology did not win the day for Barack Obama. Big spending on federal programs did. That’s the key,” O’Reilly said. “Because many in the media would have us believe that liberal ideology was confirmed by this election. It was not.”

Or particular note, O’Reilly hammered the president’s secular progressivism, claiming that Obama is “the poster guy” for the anti-traditionalist movement. After showcasing statistics and information surrounding births out of wedlock, abortion and other societal issues, the host noted that secular progressives have done little to curb these phenomena.

“Abortion is settled law in the USA, but it should be discouraged, because human DNA is present upon conception,” O’Reilly said. “Thus the situation becomes a human rights issue.”

The host asked if Americans want to live in a nation “where potential human life…is terminated for convenience.” As for marijuana legalization, another issue he tackled during the segment, he held little back, noting that, ”Legalizing pot sends a message that it’s fine to use it.”

From their stance on the “mythical war on women” to out-of-control entitlement spending, O’Reilly had no accolades to shower upon secular progressives. In fact, he made it clear that the movement, led by Obama, is a hazard to the nation’s social and political health.

“I believe the American people can be persuaded that the far left is a dangerous outlet bent on destroying traditional America and replacing it with a social free-fire zone that replaces it with dependency and poverty,” O’Reilly proclaimed.

Oh, so the left is “dangerous”, but they’ll give me free stuff without working for it...

hmmm... free stuff... hmmm...

Bill tries to be so damn circumspect, he blinds himself to reality.

This in the interest of increasing viewership.

Try the truth Bill!!!

I wonder if he even recognizes the part he played in causing our national nightmare. I doubt it. He’s a doofus.

The above statement seems just a little oxymoronic to me but who am I to decide?

Object Truth, or even believing there is such a thing, is “divisive” and therefore not popular,

so this is something Bill will avoid.

I used to think that Juan was a fairly level-headed guy for being a lib; but as national Election Day drew nearer, he transformed into a full-fledged 0bama drone with no socially redeeming value.

“where potential human life…is terminated for convenience”

Billy boy, there is nothing “potential” terminated. It is a living, breathing child we are talking about. And will you stop using the word “fetus”, when you are talking about liberals wanting to murder an unborn child. Yes, we know the medical term that can be used for this unborn child, but get with the program.

O'Reilly had it right on election night too, "free stuff" from Obama won over a message of hard work and the potential for success from Rommney.

4 years of blaming Bush and incessently beating the "fair share" class warfare drum (plus a LOT of likely voter fraud) paid off for Team Soetoro.

The boys do stick together ... far more effectively than conservatives seem to do! But then again, racism and and a strong sense of victimhood are powerful motivations to do so.

Couldn't you have kind of mentioned this before the election, Bill?
To heck with "Fair and Balanced". We need a counterweight to all the other news outlets.
This is the Fair and Balanced they should go for:
"This month the jobless numbers reached 16%. In the mean time the official government spin is..."

Leftists, ever the hypocrites, ever the pragmatists advancing their antichrist agenda,

object to the use of “homosexual” because it’s too “clinical and dehumanizing”, but use the word “fetus” in order to be “clinical and dehumanizing” toward the unborn human being that they want to kill for convenience.

I like to tell liberals the word “fetus” is latin for “little one”

That makes them change the subject in a hurry

Abortion is NOT settled law as the left would have America believe.

The "right" to have an abortion at any tine, for any reason was "granted" to America by seven unelected judges.

Abortion in America is less unregulated than abortion in almost any other county in the world.

No "law" was ever passed at a federal level. And that is why the left wants to to believe the LIE that abortion is settled law. The left could NEVER get a law passed on abortion. That is why they ignore the will of the people.

What 7 unelected judges can force down the throats of America with the stroke of a pen can also be taken away with the stroke of a pen.

“Abortion is settled law in the USA, but it should be discouraged, because human DNA is present upon conception,” O’Reilly said. “Thus the situation becomes a human rights issue.”

Bill woke up last night.

He'll be on Juan's side tomorrow, can't let the facts cause him to offend a viewer on either side. He learned a long time ago how to leave principles at home and straddle the fence for ratings. It's strictly business to him. No idealology.

NOW he complains! For four years O’Reilly has gone easy on Obama (expecting another interview with the Usurper which never came).

Bill: here’s a word for the day — perspicacious. You were not perspicacious.

90% of the “pro-choice” support can be summed up as

“I don’t want to feel guilty for having a murderous heart”

whether this means “I killed my child and don’t want to feel guilty” or “I would kill my child if I got pregnant”,

it’s still murder, and a “good person” isn’t a murderer.

Nah, Bill sees the “rage” in response to the Abortion Called The Election of 2012 and knows he can make some money off it...give him a month and he’ll be on the other side of the fence again....
