Here we go again. Obama is taking down the leadership of Americas military.(my words)

According to a senior U.S. defense official, the FBI has uncovered between 20,000 and 30,000 pages of “potentially inappropriate” emails between Allen and Jill Kelley, a 37-year-old Tampa woman whose close friendship with Petraeus ultimately led to his downfall. Allen, a Marine, succeeded Petraeus as the top allied commander in Afghanistan in July 2011.

20-30,000 pages doesn't mean 20-30,000 separate e-mails.

Yes, it does. It's plain English. It's either true or false. And, if false, the utterer is a liar.

The volume suggests that document attachments were an important part of the traffic.

You raise an interesting point. Presumably, any attachments would have been graphic in nature (stills or moving). Graphic is always the best kind of attachment! The higher the resolution the better!

But an email with attachments still counts as one email, just as an email without attachments (e.g., "Date tonight? Under the desk?") counts as one.

It could be a failed coup or remnants thereof. Also, it could be a classic distraction, a head fake with the complicity of the media to get everything away from Benghazi, and get it onto what crass American grassroots people will eat up and turn their focus to: Generals and Sex, Generals and Sex, Generals and Sex, Generals and Sex, Generals and Sex, Generals and Sex, Generals and Sex

That would be an excellent way to change the subject when the forces of Congressional power are closing in on you over abject incompetence and perhaps criminal behavior over Benghazi-gate. They probably have a deep dossier on a lot of people they can intimidate or run out of the service to save their own asses. I would watch for an end run here folks. Let's not be so easily played for fools here and/or let them change the subject.

Night of the Long Knives.

Obama couldn’t give a more accurate rendition of Hitler if he tried.

I fail to see how throwing these generals out of the service keeps them quiet.

Dead guys tell no tales, but fired guys are renowned for enthusiastically spilling the beans.

A fired general who spilled enough beans would be a shoe-in for a bestselling book.

Now we know why.

My head is spinning with all of this; can't get it sorted out in my mind. What did you mean by "now we know why." Thanks.

Because she’s not the little innocent “liason” she claims. Looking more and more like a set-up. Given her financial situation..... Well, fill in the blanks.

Good point. A U.S. administration has very little leverage over someone after he/she is fired.

"Naysayers?" How do you figure? Petraeus accepted the job from Obama---the SECOND POSITION HE TOOK FROM ZERO.

You are giving way too much credit to Obama and failing to see the broader picture of a military corruption that is crippling our Afghan work as much as Obama's malfeasance. This shows that there seems to be a lack of integrity running throughout. Opposing the gay-friendly/disarmament oriented Obama agenda demands people of total integrity and will be a long fight, and not one for people who have compromised themselves.

“What I saw at the coup”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2929658/posts

Some of the hate radio hosts began to fan the flames with crazy rumors that really weren’t so crazy, not to us. When they were taken off the air through a variety of means (but mainly for violating the “fomenting domestic terrorism” laws), the right wing nut jobs went absolutely mad with fury. The accusations about a secret purge continued. The plan was being laid out for all to see, even while it was being officially denied at every level, and was never reported on at all by our cooperating media networks and other friendly outlets.

And then the shooting started.

At a month and a half or so, it sometimes seemed that the plan was in danger of falling apart. I asked Dennis about it in private, but he appeared unworried. “It’s all part of the action-reaction calculus. It was all taken into account. We needed them to react. We’re in the second phase. We smoked them out into the open with phase one, and now we can go get them. Why do you think we bought billions of bullets for the DHS? Why do you think we paid for SWAT teams and armored cars in every Podunk town in America? We’ve been getting ready for this moment for years.”

“You knew this would happen? A civil war?”

He said, “It’s not a civil war—it’s a police action against criminals and domestic terrorists. But don’t worry: we’re ready. Now that they’re shooting at us, we can take the gloves off. The first two thousand arrests were just priming the pump. This phase will let us finish the job once and for all. Think about it: even now, nobody knows what happened to the first two thousand, or even that there were two thousand. In a month, nobody will remember if they were arrested before the shooting started, or after.”

Why was this Kelley girl even involved in what keeps getting reported as a non paying job as social liason with the military. Seems odd. Maybe even a security issue.

So who is actually going to start that process? The deposition process?

No adults are in charge.
Only commies.
