Harry Reid: How’s about we go a little nuclear up in this Senate?
Hotair ^

I hate to foist him upon you in your time of pain, but alas, one of the biggest winners last night was— against all odds— that Sullen Senate Leader, that Dour Dynamo, Sen. Harrrrrry Reeeeeid! In his press conference today he said he wants to change Senate rules to limit minority rights, but not quite go full nuclear by eliminating the filibuster. More on that in a second.

As I said on other threads, once sequestration kicks in, Reid will be powerless. The only thing he can do at that point is agree to whatever the house offers. Blue state senators need the return flow from government contracts. House members generally do not.

Is it slightly wrong that I wish Harry hadn’t come back from that car accident with all of his limbs? Seriously, this man is a despicable despot.

Careful Harry, we got your brethren here in the house and we’re gonna send you a finger every 10 minutes until we get our way.

No healing, no coming together. To every GOP representative in the House and Senate I say NO COMPROMISE, NONE! Go ahead, show them what a real “party of no” means. You know, even before it is drafted that anything hussein or the ‘rats come up with will be bad for America. So there is no harm, and some measurable good, in blocking it. Total, complete gridlock. More than gridlock, tear up the streets, rip down the traffic lights - nothing of their agenda gets through for the next four years.

The house should say “We gave you everything you wanted last year. We increased the deficit ceiling and we agreed to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire. And, we accepted your idea of sequestration. We agreed to all these things because we wanted to be bi-partisan. Now you’re on your own.”

Let’s see, Reid promised to stonewall Romney if he won the Presidency (how’s that for that good ole’ bipartisan for you) so, fair is fair, let the House stonewall OBozo.

So much for "most ethical ever". That promise was so 2006.

Or maybe even "not optimal"?

3 days ago Reid promises to block anything President Romney attempts to achieve.

Today? He vows to abolish that same right he was clinging too 3 days ago.

Ahhhh....politicians are so lovely.

I think tomorrow will be a great day to stay away from the computer, the tv, the radio....

Hey Harry: The nuke game can be played in both Houses.

Maybe it’s time for the Speaker to change the rules on committee member party splits. How about 3 Republicans for each Democrat?

Too bad our Speaker doesn’t believe in using the power that comes with the position.

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
