I spent a great time talking to my sweet, but sometimes clueless daughters about the impact of this election. They tend to see themselves as more progressive - pro gay marriage, global warming, etc... (before you guys flame away, please know I did my best -- this is college academic influence on them). The sense I get from them and from my conversations today with friends and acquaintances, is that there seems to be a overwhelming atmosphere of regret or to be more graphic and explicit...an oh s__t, what did we just do attitude.
I don't see an in-your-face hurrah jubilation like 4 years ago (except among the DBM)...just a quiet, somber reaction. I wonder if you guys are sensing that and if so, is it registering in Washington? The dynamics are definitely different this time around and I hope it is seen as unsettling to those in power. I'm feeling an edge, a vibe of unrest, uncertainty.
Some of these “feeling” leftdolts who voted for obastard without true thought have enough intuition to sense that something very bad just happened and their futures are going to be horrid. That what you saw. But they are in the minority...

And that’s the kind of idiocy we’ve had to fight out there. Just like he said up there, kids are getting this stuff from school now. They have to be...most of them don’t watch the news.
I have one acquaintance on FB who is an OWS organizer. I see the crap he and the other leaders in the organization espouse to their followers and they buy it all. Yes, it’s difficult to read that sometimes without getting into it with them, but I keep my mouth shut and just watch. I’d rather know what they are doing and saying than not.
But someone else said “they are rubbing our noses in it” and that is the truth. I see no regret there at all.
I have already done that with a Niece who supported O in 2008. I have not had a chance to discuss with her Father if her “ignorant” 2008 Obama Vote turned into a “stupid” 2012 Obama Vote.
If she saw the light I will cut her some slack, since I still carry the guilt of being a Perot Voter in 1992. Granted he wasn't a Commie, but he begot us Clinton.

Friend, that was your first mistake. All three of my daughters do not hold identical political views to me or even each other. But they are all productive citizens with good traditional values and all three voted for Romney/Ryan. When we were shopping for colleges, I told them I wouldn't help pay for any which was infested with liberal fleas.
My middle daughter, in particular, was a great student and got a ton of college fan mail. She pared the list down and trash canned any with a large "Women Studies" department or "Lesbian Studies" as she called it.
Once her list was down to a manageable 10-12, we started making serious inquiries and arranged visits to six of them, which happened to be on the short list of my older daughter as well. We eliminated one of them because we asked to tour the liberal arts professors office areas and found an excess of liberal flea bags infesting the department. We eliminated another two because we thought their scholarship offers were quite chintzy for what they wanted in tuition. I asked the girls to list the remaining candidates in their order of preference 1, 2 and 3. They both picked the same #2 and that's where we went.
So, you think the federal government will use nukes against the States? I guess you think all nukes are outside the States, too, huh?

Who know when all this is said and done what we’ll have left. I think that’s the reality that is setting in with them. Plus, I think it shocked them that we have spent a small fortune remodeling our home (can you tell I was anticipating a Romney win?), and I talked to them about selling, downsizing both in the house and income. We have waiting 23 years to do this remodel so this is something that is meaningful — not an impulse — and way overdue — and not even finished!!
They are never happy. Even when they control everything, they want more.
Even when they've looted the economy and picked it dry, they are mad that the wagon pullers won't pull harder or have withdrawn altogether.

I think if liberals knew what it felt like to have their OWN wealth taken away from them they would think differently. Look at these celebrities who adore Obama so much..they are not afraid of their wealth being taken away from them because they already made a deal with Obama that their wealth would not be touched. I remember the look of shock on Will Smith’s face when he went to France and was told how much taxes are imposed on the rich over there..he was in total shock, but he still supports Obama..maybe if he felt his wallet getting smaller under Obama he and others like him wouldnt kiss so much Democrat ass
My son was hearing that from his classmates at college. He couldn’t even look at anyone today because he’s so embarrassed at the stupidity of his generation. He kept asking them, tell me why you voted for Obama. What policies and plans do you like? They couldn’t answer. It was all about weed, gays, and women’s right to abortion. And they gloated all day. And if anyone didn’t vote for Obama, they are furious with them. One fellow was intimidating a young lady on Facebook who didn’t vote for Obama. They are scary in love with Obama.
In the name of avoiding someone who “governed to the left of Bill Clinton”, you allowed the re-election of someone governing to the left of Marx, who has promised to govern to the left of Mao.
In the name of eschewing someone you’ve tarred with being “culture of death” you enabled a man who voted no less than four times to forbid any medical treatment to a baby that survived an abortion attempt.
To avoid voting for someone who has a list of things not to do, you voted to keep someone whose done most of them and advocates the rest.
You just made it possible for a backstabbing, lying, limp-wristed person who can’t even talk to third-graders without a teleprompter to enable terrorists, to encourage sharia, and to devastate Israel and to even control the tiniest details of your life.

Well at half past midnight last night, some jubilant Obot drove down our whole street with his car horn blaring out his victory over the country formerly known as America. He seemed pretty danged happy to me. Hasn’t met The Death Panel yet. Might not be too happy with “the red pill” or “the blue pill” when he needs but won’t get medical help. Probably won’t have a car then either, if he’s lucky bicyles will still be an approved method of transport. Unless you fart when you ride, then the methane would make it illegal to ride the bike.......
