I plan to cancel cable tv, quit the health club, am putting off purchases that I had planned IF Romney had won.
Am happy to hear ideas...I have to say my spouse was literally in tears last night, thinking about what dangers we face (not just as a family but as a society and a nation). We prayed together, asking God to guide us. HE knew this was going to happen, and HE can use this for HIS glory.
We just want to be as wise as possible with the resources God has provided.
So we welcome your input.
1. I’ve been joking to friends for 20 years that I drive my cars until they die or I do. Then if I’m still alive I buy another used one. I can afford a new one, even to pay for one outright, but I won’t.
2. I look at the people in a mad rush to get the latest Apple gadget, flat-screen HDTV, or OS upgrade and shake my head. Spending my wealth on such things only benefits Zero and I won’t do it. I do just fine with what I have.
3. I vacation at home.
4. I stopped going to the movies years ago. I stopped watching the Oscars two decades ago. I will NOT support the Hollywood Left. Two hours of entertainment isn’t worth it. I’ve found ways to entertain myself. I started writing fiction, and I find it very entertaining. Hint: don’t worry about ever getting it published. Just have fun crafting a story that you would like to read.
Exactly. Think depression...Except, this one will come with more chaos and violence because Integrity, Morals, and Fear of God have been stripped away in the last couple of generations. Generally speaking.

Oh, how I wish I hadn't sold my small business, in which I employed about 25 full timers. If I still had it, I would do the same, and suggest to my employees to ask obama and the left to look after them.

I used to think the same thing, but now I am inclined to believe that the Fed. Gov. will simply spend itself into irrelevance. When that happens the States will pickup the powers they originally gave to the Feds. Do believe there will be problems in States that cannot continue to feed and support their dependent class and maybe some limited military actions between have States and have-not States. I do agree with the Russian physicist who predicted the breakup of the US.

I don’t see how what your proposing can be called living. “Hey, General Eisenhower, can we put off this landing? Because it’s kind of dangerous out there.”
I plan on engaging in as little economic activity as possible. If we all do that, maybe we can collapse the People’s Republic of Obamastan.
There is nothing we need to do to “Go Galt”.
