At a campaign rally for President Barack Obama yesterday in Virginia, former President Bill Clinton talked about bringing "this country together" and crossing "all of its diversity." Then, Clinton added this:

"One of the things the decider-in-chief has to do is decide whether he’s going to bring this country together across all its diversity or let it drift apart. Look at how much stronger the American military is because it is less racist, less sexist and less homophobic and we’re just looking for people who can do the job," said Clinton.

Yeah, in my military, I also just want people who can do that job to defend me and my country. And if that means that the most racist, sexist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic gunner can shoot down more bombers than anyone else, then I expect my military to figure out how to deal with him.
But then what do I know?.....I’m just a civilian.
...and less willing to go in and protect Americans.

He left out that commanders are being relieved on a daily basis also. You can’t have a military without discipline. It appears to me that discipline has suffered. In the military, you can’t afford to allow the lunatics to run the asylum. People can get killed.

In AIT I saw a black power wrist band wearing, non-haircut getting soldier with the banned afro-comb, wearing boots that he refused to shine, and all the other things that a washout does, (shirt tail, slouching, hands in pockets, attitude, no leadership, lazy, hostile), when he needs to be cycled out of the military, win soldier of the month.
The man was chosen by his black NCOs over not only the white soldiers, including THE obvious choice, but over a couple of very good black soldiers who were in the running, but who weren’t militants. I doubt that he made it through his enlistment, but he will always be ‘soldier of the month’ for that cycle, it was the clearest race message that I have ever seen within an institution.
Now we gotta work on that “islamophobia”, right Slick?

So Clinton, it was never about increasing opportunities for our people to serve, but all along it was about changing the minds and attitudes of America - right?
Clinton truly does suck. As does the way he measures a “strong” military.
The Left truly believes that the masses believe whatever blather the Democrat Party spews, no questions asked.
The left, in a manner of speaking, figures that flicking drops of water at your enemy wins, with minimal losses. In fact, if you looked at the death toll in America, the dead Libyan ambassador, and more, you see that Clinton, Bush II, and so on never really did a full job at beating Iraq, Iran, and the Taliban. Then there’s the problem of ground troops somehow being hours away from Benghazi, where’s the Marines or Navy SEALS to launch from a carrier? Or how about airborne SERE or Rangers from our Air Force bases? The military is a mess, an frankly, if it takes a war hawk to properly command it, so be it.
And, according to Sec. Def. Panetta, incapable of launching a rescue mission to a consulate or embassy to save 41 FedMob foreign stationed employees.
Air power alone doesn’t win; something that Clinton and Obama don’t seem to recognize.

No Rangers were dragged through the streets in Mogadishu as far as I have ever been able to find, the men dragged, were the crew of Black Hawk Super 6-4, and the two Delta operators who knowingly went to their deaths to fight for them.

Of all of the 18 soldiers killed, 6 were Rangers.

I do not know what the big deal is over Clinton campaigning for Obama, Can anyone name any Dem in the past who won an election based on Clinton endorsing or campaigning for them. Generally the guy is the kiss of death.Most candidates he actively campaigned for have lost in the past. Clinton is a legend in his own and the MSM’s mind. In short, he is irrelevant.
I was in the military, when it was “more homophobic”.
At least, in those days, even the leaders had balls!
The job of the military is to kill people and break things, period. It is not, as some mothers do with a three year old, get down on their knees and try to explain to them in ‘mommy words’, what is desired at that moment.
Wow, that’s just great, I’m so glad. I’ll bet that will drive fear into the hearts of our enemies? Frankly, I wouldn’t mind a few neanderthals here and there amongst our service members. But, that’s the democrats for you, tinker with social policy of an organization they hate, don’t understand, and never will understand. They just had to “fix” the most functional part of our government that put the efficiencies of the rest of the government to shame. Way to go bubba and bubba jr.
