Shocking HuffPo Headline: 'Anger Grows In Outer NY Boroughs, NJ Over Sluggish Response To Sandy'
NewsBusters ^

With just four days to go before the elections, and Obama's media doing everything within their power to ignore the subject of Benghazi, Libya, you would think they'd also be turning a blind eye to disaster relief problems in areas hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy.

That's why I was shocked to see this headline at the Huffington Post a few hours ago: "Anger Grows In Outer NY Boroughs, NJ Over Sluggish Response To Sandy."

As you can see, the top of the Post's front page listed article after article of bad news from the region.

Not what you would expect from a publication devoted to the re-election of Barack Obama.

Actually, it's the other way around.

Barack Obama is fully on-board with a Democratic Party agenda that is based on the assumption that white people are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves.

To paraphrase what one conservative pundit said during the height of Bill Clinton's impeachment debate: The political debate in this country is marked by a double standard in which conservatives are held to a much higher standard than liberals. This is something we should all accept with pride, for it pretty much reflects the reality of these two different groups of people.

Remember when he promised to re-build America’s infrastructure?

Nevermind that. Remember when Obama said that his election was the moment that the oceans would stop rising and the earth would heal, yet here we have NY and NJ being washed away? I'm starting to feel like he wasn't quite truthful with us.

New Yawk goes Red next week.....downstate isn’t voting...IMHO.

I don't discount this. If enough residents of the burroughs Queens, Brooklyn, and Statem Island vote in protest of their poor treatment, NY could easily go red.

Im waiting for Kanye West to give a speech about how Obama doesn’t care about white people..especially those in Staten Island, who I found out is a Republican district(At least there seems to be more Republicans there than Democrats)

Re Bridgeport: The Arab residents of Jerusalem act much the same way: Attack municipal crews who come into their neighborhoods, and then complain that they’re not getting city services.

Its a real shame nobody thought to, oh, I don’t know, work on gathering food items at rallies to support the relief effort. Sure would have been a great idea.

The hurricane happened 5 days too early for Obama. Its easy to think he is handling it well one day after it hits, back when Christie et al were giving him praise, but as time passes, how badly he is doing there is becoming evident to all.

Staten Island is suffering, and yet NY will still go with Obama.

But PA will not, and many people in all states will take notice.

I've been wondering the same thing. Couldn't they have had food, water, blankets, TP, meds, diapers, etc in semi's ready to bring in? Shelter's and shuttles readied?

With areas as densely populated as NYC and NJ, and after 9/11, I would've thought major prep plans were in place, there.

“Christie may be trying to engineer Romney’s defeat in order to give himself a chance in 2016. “

You mean - sort of like Romney did to Palin in 08?

“I’d love to be a fly on the wall at Dubya’s house...”

I wonder when some low class white comedian is going to accuse obama of hating White people due to his Hurricane Sandy response, the same way Kanye West did towards President Bush about Black people.

Katrina:"Where's Bush?"
Sandy:"Where's The governor? Where's the mayor? Where's FEMA?"
