Thoughts from a demented OLD mind.. I have thought for several months that this group in the administration would attempt anything to remain in power.
Please read this comment below posted at Brietbart on 10/30 prior to reading Newt's comments. The article where this comment was posted was Billboard: America or Obama-You Can't Have Both.. Comment: C.O. Jones received a phone call from an old friend that has been in Washington D.C. for years and is fairly well-connected politically. What she told Jones was ugly and sinister, yet very compelling. She said she had received information from someone high up in White House circles, and wanted Jones’ thoughts. No, there is no leaked email, no concrete proof, and this article is based on “hearsay.” Jones usually does not engage in or repeats hearsay, but if this is true, it could be the biggest story in 50 years. According to her, Barack Obama, wanting an “October Surprise,” had secretly arranged with the Muslim Brotherhood for a kidnapping of our ambassador. Then sometime in October before the election Obama was to orchestrate some great military action to rescue Ambassador Stevens, causing all of America to cheer Obama’s strong foreign policy and bravery and making him look like a hero. After all, his supposed killing of Osama Bin Laden bounce had long since faded. Thus, sweeping him to victory in November. Imagine the headlines an d talking points. The election would be a lock. The Muslim Brotherhood has every reason to want Obama re-elected in November and have an American President sympathetic to their causes. Not to mention an administration filled with Muslim appeasers. Therefore, they agreed to aid in these theatrics. Unfortunately for Ambassador Stevens and three others, the Brotherhood could not control the hired thugs that were to perform the kidnapping.
This old man believes this is exactly what occurred.. Big O arranged the raid at Benghazi for a "political" reason. I do not think HE intended for anyone to be killed. BUT You cannot control the actions of CRAZIES handling your orders without proper supervision.
Big O had already given his people the scenario of what was SUPPOSED to have happened. His people here in the US followed their instructions well - IT WAS THE FILM..

Nah, this rumor has been out from the conspiracy theorists from the beginning. The truth is much better than the fiction.

The military leaks are the ony unimpeachable sources for what was seen and heard, what was done and not done.
With 2 of those hands being Newt and US Senator that Newt claims is reliable and has the opportunity to know. (I get third hand, but will not quibble.)
So...we have to hope for a leaker either from the government OR from the MSM (perhaps they really are the state-run media and part of the Obama government). Hopefully, some patriotic and righteousness-filled individual at the MSM will break through the Obama election Behghazi blackout and leak these emails!

Very simple, Hillary refused to go on those Sunday shows 5 days after the attack. Instead Susan Rice, Ambassador to the UN was sent out thereto promote the storyline that the violence was the result of an obscure youtube video...

The hired thugs lost control once the SEALS showed up, and the so-called innocent demonstrators were expendable if need be - so that’s a line of bull right there.
No, if it was a planned October surprise gone bad, the only reason it didn’t work out as planned is because of the two Navy SEALS who weren’t in on the plan. They showed up to bravely defend the compound because it was not in their nature to cowardly sit by and stand down!
Read a couple of reports back then that stated Stevens was taken to the hospital after he was recovered or found. Why would they take a dead man to the hospital ?
I think your explanation is spot on. I too think that 0zer0 saw what was going on and really believed it was a protest like the Cairo protests earlier. But that was his mistake. He then made the decision to stand down, and by the time he realized this wasn’t a protest but an attack, it was too late because everyone was dead.
The libs will try to excuse 0zer0’s mistake on the “fog of war”, but as Genoa said below, that doesn’t hold water because they were watching the attack in real time, and had real time calls for help that 0zer0 turned down. That can never be spun as mistake, but will only be spun as either gross incompetence or deliberately turning you back on Americans in need.
They had no choice but to run with the “video” as the cause. When it all became clear as the intelligence poured in, this was Al Qaeda, the mistake was known to everyone in the WH.
So they had to go into cover up mode, and have been in cover up mode ever since to protect 0zer0. The problem for the WH is more than one player is not going to fall on their sword for 0zer0. We have already seen that with some of the retired military, and expect the newly “fired/retired” admirals will sing. The WH knows they can’t keep the lid on this forever, they are just trying to get past election day.
We have to keep pushing this past the lamestream media so it keeps getting traction so the leaks keep building until the lamestream media is forced to cover it.
This also explains why Bill and Hillary had a legal team look at all this. These emails will come out eventually. Whoever has them, can send copies to more than just 2 networks. They are just waiting for those networks to launch, and if they don’t they will send them somewhere else. I wouldn’t be surprised if the “fired/retired” admirals didn’t leak them, and that is why they were relieved of duty.
What is really sick is 0zer0 saying “we will hold whoever made mistakes accountable”, when he knows that it is HIM who is responsible. He is such a narcissist that he can’t help but look for a scapegoat somewhere else. He truly is evil, not just incompetent.
