Sadly, not sure I’ve ever been asked for id in Jersey. You sign the book and they compare your signature to whats on file...i do think you have to be registered in the book, so if yiou’re not there you can’t vote, but there is no voter id per say in NJ...but try buying liquor if you look under 50, or cigarettes, or trying to get a drivers license which requires ever piece of id ever given you...voting?, not so much...

That sounds like a problem to me., I just hope that Sharpton and Jackson don’t appear at polling places with megaphones screaming about a black voter who has been denied his right to vote.
