President Obama fired back at critics who have accused his administration of orchestrating a cover up over the September attacks in Libya.
“I do take offense with some suggestion that in any way, we haven’t tried to make sure that the American people knew as the information was coming in what we believed," Obama told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" in an interview that aired Monday.

“If we find out we that there was a big breakdown, and somebody didn’t do their job, they’ll be held accountable,” Obama said.
“Ultimately, as commander-in-chief, I’m responsible, and I don’t shy away from that responsibility. My number one responsibility is to go after the folks who did this, and we’re going to make sure we get them,” Obama said.

NO, that's number three, or four or five. Your number one responsibility was to provide adequate security based on local situation at each embassy, then to respond to specific requests from the ambassador concerning increased threats, and then to provide military assistance after the terrorist attack began.
And who knows what other warning signals should have been heeded before the terrorist attack? But Obama was only interested in pretending that his interference in Libya had been a great success, and that things were now peaceful and stable.
I can’t even begin to list the ways that Obomba offends me.

An American ambassador and CIA operatives were ruthlessly murdered by heavily armed terrorists at an American facility on 9/11. And nothing was done.
To suggest that there MIGHT have been a breakdown is offensive to the American people. This was a diplomatic and security debacle of the highest order that exposes the vulnerabilities of the rest of our diplomatic posts.

We take offense that an American hero was killed by mortar fire, while painting the mortar position with a laser ahead of air support that was denied.
I think there’s a line, “when you strike at a king, you must kill him”. Unless Romney removes him next week we’ll never get the real story on this. All of Obama’s subjects will cover for him till he loses power. Even then, Republicans will probably let him go quietly. So I prepare myself for disappointment.
