President Obama Vows 'Determined' Performance at Second Debate

President Obama on Debate Performance: 'I Had a Bad Night' By DEVIN DWYER WASHINGTON, Oct. 10, 2012 President Obama on Wednesday said in an exclusive interview with ABC News' Diane Sawyer that he plans to more aggressively confront Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in their second debate next week, trying to allay concerns among supporters that a lackluster first debate performance may have cost him the race.

"Governor Romney had a good night. I had a bad night. It's not the first time," Obama said in his first televised interview since the Denver debate on Oct. 3. Despite Romney's post-debate momentum and surge in the polls, the "fundamentals of what this race is about haven't changed," he said.

"This was one event. We've got four weeks to go. Nobody is going to be fighting harder than I am," Obama told Sawyer, aiming to reassure his base. "What they need is to make sure they tune in on Tuesday next week."

"If you have a bad game you just move on, you look forward to the next one, and it makes you that much more determined," he said, comparing the political face-off to a sports game.

Asked by Sawyer whether it's possible that his poor showing had handed Romney the election, Obama replied, "no."

"You're going to win?" she asked.

"Yes," Obama said.

"You want it more than the first time?" she pressed, noting that some Democrats have questioned whether he remains sufficiently passionate and relentless.

"Absolutely," he said.

So now he will over do it and look like an ass. I would say, be himself, but who know what that would look like.

I've never seen anything like this. The media just will not leave the last debate alone until they've beaten it into a victory for Obama.

Its over, a-holes. Move on.

Romney is going to give him a worse beating than what he got in the first one.

Is he going to be like Al Gore in his first debate?

Will Obama huff, puff, and sigh, while Romney is answering his questions?

Will Obama interrupt Romney during Romney's time in order to try to throw him off message or obscure his message entirely?

Will Obama take 50% more time than the rules allow to give his answers and dare the moderators to stop him, while doing everything he can to get Romney to waste his time?

"President Obama on Wednesday said in an exclusive interview with ABC News' Diane Sawyer that he plans to more aggressively confront Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in their second debate next week"

A past example of his aggressive confrontation:

"Jim, let me just make a point. I've got a bracelet too. From, Sergeant, uh, uh, [looking at bracelet], from the mother of, uh, Sergeant, Ryan David Jopek."

Yeah, except it is AGAINST all American interests.

Obama will get aggressive, and blow it once again.

Obama will probably overplay his hand badly.

If I were Romney and Obama becomes a truly over-the-top and embarrassing spectacle I would make a nice little speech to the American People and end by saying how ashamed I was of the spectacle they just witnessed...and then I would just up and leave.

The Obama supporters gave him money to throw in the river. The taxpayers money has been burned up and now faces inflation.

An angry Obama will be a turn off to independents...which is exactly why I hope Mitt Romney’s team will coach him to needle Obama into self destruction....This piece of human waste (Obama) actually thought he won the first debate...he will fail even more miserably the second time in 4 years he’s had to ad-lib something this important without a teleprompter or media able to protect him with “Whats your favorite color” questions....this will be even better to watch than the 1st!!! ...

In other words Obamas entire plan is lie harder than he ever lied before. His big problem without the teleprompter will be to put the lie together in a complete sentence.
