That makes perfect sense. We used to use beer bottles to make college folk art.

Our best use was after a huge party (400+ people). We collected all of the bottles and smashed them up into large chunks. We had an old table we were gonna throw out. I covered it in an epoxy resin and poured the glass chunks all over it. Once the resin dried, I covered the exposed shards and let it dry for about a week.

That table went everywhere with me until a young friend of the family asked if he could take it with him to college. It’s still in someone’s living room in Tallahassee, FL, likely a testament to hungover college shenanigans and ingenuity.

And FWIW, I cannot do IPAs. I’ve yet to find an IPA that doesn’t give me a headache. I don’t know what it is, but I cannot tolerate them like I can most other beers.

“Labatt’s Blue Light, baby!.”

I hate to be a beer snob, but in Canada, Blue Light has the status of say Bud Light stateside, or maybe Old Milwaukee.

In the small liquor store in the village near my rural home, there are at least a dozen brands better than that, and only a handful poorer.

Canada should be renamed Land of Beer ...and Ale!

Our IPAs are great!

How can it be a real poll without St. Pauli Girl? I’m rarely able to find it so I drink Heinekin. If I can’t get St. Pauli or Heinekin I don’t drink beer.

I don’t see Smithwick’s on there anywhere. And I totally disagree with the placement of Guinness.

And where, may I ask, is Yuengling.

Most of those that have heard on Yuengling are from PA and are clinging to their guns and Bibles!!

I don’t generally do IPAs either - most I just don’t like the taste.

The Avery stuff is very hoppy - almost citrusy. If I had noticed it was an IPA when I ordered it, I probably wouldn’t have tried it.

That table sounds really cool. Could be an interesting business and a way to dispose of old beer bottles at the same time.
