President Barack Obama is about to release or transfer 55 Gitmo prisoners, despite reports that the Libyan believed to be behind the killing of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a former Guantanamo inmate transferred to Libyan custody.
The large percentage of those scheduled to be released are Yemeni, according to a list made public by the Obama administration.
Obama stopped the release or transfer of Yemeni inmates in 2010, because the conditions in the country were viewed as too "unsettled" at the time.
A release or transfer of 55 inmates means Obama is moving out one third of the prisoners at Guantanamo. And while it doesn't represent a shutdown of the facility, it's certainly indicative of a move toward that end.

I certainly hope Romney starts talking about this and running ads about it. As an effective blue dog Democrat, he at least seems to have a pro-American foreign policy. I doubt his campaign reads Breitbart though, so we’ll have to wait and see if this story makes Drudge before Romney will know about it.

I feel 100% confident that Romney will be our new president. I fear voter fraud will be out of control but we will still prevail. People are really upset. Obama seems to care more about his precious campaign then our national security. He has divided our nation and apologized for the last time.

As one myself, internet retailers can set fraud protection parameters. You can set things to take any payment that comes through, regardless of fields such as name, street number, zip, cvv2 code and exp. date not matching up.

Can anyone recall a single Muslim terrorist convicted by our military since he took office? I believe that Obama’s faith prevents him, as Commander in Chief of the Armed Services, from allowing a military trial to sentence a Muslim to death. Thus the attempt to put KSM in a NY civil court and the interminable delay of Gitmo and Hassan Nidal trials.

I was surprised and please to hear Romney talk about reducing the size of the Federal Government by shifting some responsibilities to the States to administer as they chose.
