At more college campuses across the country, students are winning the right to pack a gun.
Many colleges have long been allowed to make their own decisions about whether students can carry firearms on campus, and most still forbid it. But gun-rights advocates working through the courts and state legislatures have managed to secure a significant expansion of gun rights at public universities.
Students are now permitted by law to carry guns on public campuses in five statesfour more than two years ago.

This is great news.
I’ve taken the pistol safety course and have applied for my CC permit. It’s a drag to have to get a permit to exercise a constitutional right, but that just means there is more work to do.
If colleges will forbid citizens to legally carry their firearms, how are they not held solely responsible for maintaining the safety of their students?!?
Why do we still employ a cop-killer in the DOJ..?
Sad when the first to ask that on network TV has to be a Mexican oufit —why not honky hair-helmets first...?

Liberal-land thinks that outlawing weapons is a way to outlaw evil. And everywhere that liberals think they control others they attempt to extend the prohibition of defensive weapons. This is just more unicorns and rainbows, but what else is new?
But the news media clearly tips its hands in their phrasing of the issue as a pejorative. These “students” are really qualified citizens of majority age exercising their rights under the Constitution and within their respective states’ regulatory framework for carrying concealed weapons.

Colorado and Utah for certain. Wisconsin has partial campus carry. There has been a fair amount of movement on this lately, with legislation in several states moving, as well as court cases in other states.
It might be easier to research individual states that you are interested in.
