I’ve been to California only twice, and that for only a bit of time each time. The first to pick up my son’s GM Sonoma at Ft Irwin and then drive it back to Oklahoma for him. The second was to Sierra Army Depot about 150 miles NE of Sacramento.
Wish I could visit someday and have that potluck and beer. Sounds like fun.
Those are really beautiful spots. I have a brother who lives in Placerville which is northeast of Sacramento.
I like living by the beach, and Santa Barbara has some of the most perfect weather year round, always between 68-75 highs and 50-60 lows.
Well, maybe we should just a date and place for the BBQ, if people can come they can if not they can wish us well or even have several spots around the country on the same day.
