Rasmussen Reports ^ | 9/14/12 | Scott Rasmussen

President Obama and Mitt Romney continue to run nearly dead even in the key swing state of Ohio.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows the president earning 47% support to Romney’s 46%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The fact that the kneepad media can’t lie that Ubama is twenty points ahead tells you everything you need to know.

The important part is that Obama, even with all the recent favorable press coverage can’t get above 47%.

Its getting late in the game now, with only the debates to shake things up. Romney is sitting ok, but I wish he would be a little more aggressive towards Obama’s actions.

That's still yesterday's number. According to Drudge, Romney is up by 3 today.

I took my sons to a park in southwest Ohio last night and ran into another conservative father. He liked my anti-Obama GONE shirt.

Anyway, he commented that every legacy Obama voter he and his wife knew, including his two daughters, have all committed to voting for Romney in this election. My experience is about the same with a few holdouts for Obama.

If the Chick-fil-a day is any indication, the momentum is on our side.

"That's still yesterday's number. According to Drudge, Romney is up by 3 today."

This is just in Ohio.

The Arab Fall is all on Obama. Hillary as well.

More riots and protests by Muslims, loss of Egypt as an ally, gas prices going up more. Bleak two month ahead for Obama.

The undecided vote will break heavily for Romney.

These polls usually are +8-10% Dem response. As Herman Cain said - Republicans are out working. democrats are at home to answer the phone.

—— Its getting late in the game now, with only the debates to shake things up. Romney is sitting ok, but I wish he would be a little more aggressive towards Obama’s actions. ——

I’d prefer him to do that with negative ads.

Why?

ANYTHING he says will be distorted by the media, particularly anything negative.

Negative ads go directly to the American Idol watchers without being filtered.

Negative ads are effective.

If the ads are PAC-funded, Romney at least has plausible denial, when the media demands that the ads stop.

Considering the fact that he used this technique effectively against fellow conservatives, if he doesn’t do this, he will deserve contempt..

now obama and hillary are unifying to spin this as “anger about a video” rather than their utter failure in leadership.

The MSM is only reporting the video and romney made a mistake of some kind.

The MSM except for blaze.tv are in lock step.

Before the Obot loving media and their followers celebrate victory, I offer the following:

In a game during the 2006 football season, Northwestern was leading Michigan State 38-3 with 9:54 left in the 3rd quarter. Spike the ball, Wildcats, Game Over! ooops..only one problem with that...you have to play the whole game.

Final: Michigan State 41, Northwestern 38

odd then how does MSNBC’s poll of likely voters with obama leading in all swing states play out?

MSNBC reportoed Obama leads in all these states and in particular touted FL.

They also reported only Romney has a problem, never Obama has a problem.

hmmmm

is MSNBC biased? (/s)

Just saw where Romney has regained the lead in Rasmussen's national daily tracking poll, 48-45. The Obama post-convention bounce is gone as is the pro-Obama distortion due to polling on weekends. (Breathing a little easier, at least for now.)

Where I live in small town Ohio... there are no yard signs and very few bumper stickers for either candidate. Very different from last cycle.

In NYC the MSM only comments about clint eastwoods delivery of words.

Those outside of NYC remember the empty chair.

Those who did not see or hear the clint eastwood speech know about the empty chair.

The conventions are over and all that is remembered is an empty chair.

A US Ambassador is brutalized, murdered, and the corpse dragged through the streets. At 3am there was only an empty chair.
