NYS Primary Day! Call to Action!
NY Times ^ | 9/11/2012 | THOMAS KAPLAN

Posted on 09/13/2012 5:56:05 AM PDT by lowtaxsmallgov

'TROY, N.Y. — Before State Senator Roy J. McDonald, a Republican, voted last year to legalize same-sex marriage, he told reporters that anyone unhappy with his position could “take the job and shove it.”

Now comes the test.'

'Mr. McDonald’s challenger, Kathleen A. Marchione, the Saratoga County clerk, is running an insurgent campaign, dialing voters from a windowless office next to a Subway sandwich shop. She accuses Mr. McDonald of having deceived the voters who elected him by changing his position on same-sex marriage, which he voted to oppose in the past.

“People feel betrayed,” Ms. Marchione said. “I’ve heard that a lot — that they feel betrayed by our senator, that you said one thing, you do something else.” '

Calling all conservatives! We need real conservatives to make a strong showing and get out and vote and get rid of RINOs McDonald and Saland here in the Hudson Valley, and Grisanti in Buffalo, who took it upon themselves to redefine marriage.

If you know Republicans or Conservatives in NY's Hudson Valley, we need YOU to Get them Out to Vote in support of Kathy Marchione in the 43rd Senate and Neil Di Carlo in the 41st Senate. Make some calls, send some emails, get the word out.

Here are their home pages and maps of their districts:

I should mention that polls - at least here in Columbia County - are open noon to nine.

Get people out to vote - we MUST make a statement in Defense of Marriage!

TODAY IS PRIMARY DAY! 9-13.

Go DiCarlo! Plenty of people in Dutchess County working hard for a DiCarlo victory over Saland. This is encouraging that the grassroots in NY has the enthusiasm to take the fight to these two.

There were 4, one was so ruined by his vote he was unable to stand for re-election. So as Geneisis would say, And Then There Were Three.

I forget the exact tally, but it went something like 2 Dems and 4 Pubs that switched votes.

Among the 2 Dems, 1 was Weprin who ran to replace Anthony Weiner NY CD 9 and lost to Bob Turner, because conservative Jews did the right thing and kicked his sorry butt out of office. Don’t know about the other Dem.

Amon the 4 Pubs, one (near the NJ/PA/NY tri-state area) was issued a beat-down so severe he is not even running. The other 3 are Grisanti (Buffalo), and the two guys I am vexed with here:
- Sell-out Steve Saland, who was/is my Senator prior to redistricting (41st District); and
- RINO Roy McDonald who will become my Senator if I don’t help Kathy Marchione defeat him (43rd District).

BUMP!!!!
It’s the day when your voice is the loudest and YOU have the chance to pick the person to represent your district in Albany. Please go vote, it is one of our most important duties as citizens. If you don’t vote you don’t have the right to complain! We get the government we deserve, corrupt and power driven.

People have to start to realize the primary is when they have their most powerful voice. This is when you pick the parties candidate. This is the day for accountability!

Thanks for the ping.

Liberal Republican Roy McDonald, who voted for same-sex “marriage” as you know, has received campaign dollars from all over the country.

I heard a guy this morning call a radio show to say, he was voting for McDonald’s opponent, Kathy Marchione, because he doesn’t like the influence from other states.

To NYers in the district: polls are open until 9:00 p.m.. Please make sure you vote for Kathy Marchione, and bring a friend.

If you really want to help win this fight, join the National Organization for Marriage or at least "like" them on Facebook. They are doing outstanding work and as a result they're under constant attack from the homo-promo crowd. They need all the help they can get.

NOM on Facebook.

“..People have to start to realize the primary is when they have their most powerful voice. This is when you pick the parties candidate. This is the day for accountability!”

You got it!

Also, people need to realize how POWERFUL their vote on Primary Day is, simply because FAR, FAR less people vote on Primary Day, so your vote REALLY COUNTS.

Sometimes, less than 1% of the people vote in primaries

Your vote is worth 100 votes

You can get rid of a RINO and select a TEA party candidate DURING THE PRIMARIES
