CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Democrats sought to tamp down a pair of controversies as they gaveled open the second night of their convention Wednesday, inserting the word “God” into their platform and restating support for Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
It took three attempts to pass the language regarding Jerusalem and a subjective decision by the convention chairman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, to decide the change had the required support of two-thirds of the delegates. To many listeners, the voice vote seemed at least evenly divided.

As I'll note on all these threads, good thing it was a voice vote, cause I don't think that was 2/3. The boos were a nice touch.
All of which misses the point, why were G-d and Jerusalem taken out? Is that why they were concerned about having The One accept the nomination outdoors, lightening and all?
Mark Levin played this entire audio, with Villagairosa, futilely trying to get a clear 2/3 majority YEA votes
no less than THREE times. When it was clear he had closer
to a NAY vote after ALL THREE TRIES, he dubbed it a YEA vote.
Obviously he got the memo.
This is truly the Gang that Couldn’t Shoot Straight.
They just keep outdoing themselves . No one does dishonesty better than the Democrats.
I watched, all three votes. It was EVENLY divided, in fact I believe there were more NAYs.
The GOP never took them out of their platform. Therefore, they did not have to go through the riggers of putting them back. We like God and we think Jerusalem is the Capitol of Israel.
