Former Florida governor and ex-Republican Charlie Crist endorsed President Barack Obama on Sunday, calling him “the right leader for our times.”

“I applaud and share his vision of a future built by a strong and confident middle class in an economy that gives us the opportunity to reap prosperity through hard work and personal responsibility,” Crist wrote in a Tampa Bay Times op-ed on the eve of the Republican National Convention.

Actually, who cares what Charlie Crist has to say? He changes his mind about anything at anytime. If you like being jerked around with changes in position, by all means, follow Charlie. Let him think for you.

Talk about the bigger the lie, the more it will be believed syndrome trying to be played out by them; nobody is more damaging to the middle class than the “liberals”, who are very liberal with the working man’s money and assets. With our money, that they give away to the non producers, they buy votes to gain and stay in power, all the while turning the poor into their own personal, demoralized, demanding, angry army of beggars.

Sen. John Cornyn (RINO-TX), as head of the NRSC, endorsed Crist over Marco Rubio. Quoting Cornyn: "While I believe Marco Rubio has a very bright future within the Republican Party, Charlie Crist is the best candidate in 2010 to ensure that we maintain the checks and balances that Floridians deserve in the United States Senate. Governor Crist is a dedicated public servant and a dynamic leader, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee will provide our full support to ensure that he is elected the next United States Senator from Florida.” (source) Cornyn needs to be replaced!

I don’t think you get it. I can’t stand Crist. I can barely tolerate Romeny. Slight difference but still enough to grin and bear it on election day, voting for Romeny the RINO.

I believe that this photo was from January 2010 when Obama 'gave' Governor Crist $2 Billion+ for a Tampa-Orlando 'Bullet Train' line. This was the start of the end of old Charlie, who now shills for the Morgan&Morgan tort lawyer firm in Tampa. This deal was confidently touted to be in operation by 2014 in spite of known environmental lawsuits and ever more dicey economic prospects.

When Obama gave this announcement in Tampa, there was $8 Billion from the Stimulus for 13 High-speed Rail projects. Now the California project is the only one still viable but with a price increase factor (50% in 2 years) that rivals Boston's legendary "Big Dig". Now the initial segments of 168 miles between Bakersfield and Merced look to cost around $10B or $59.5 Million/mile. If the Florida route were to match that cost, 70 miles would have given Florida taxpayers about $2 Billion to pay on their own for doubtful ridership and economic risk, which is a good reason for Governor Scott's cancellation of Crist and Obama's stimulus.

An ex Republican In Name Only Governor who happens to be a closeted homosexual endorses a man who just came out in support of gay marriage and is doing billboard ads in Florida for local insurance companies to make a living. This just goes to show you how awful the last generation of Florida GOP was and how far they have come.

He actually does ads, and works for, the law firm Morgan & Morgan...HQ here in Orlando area. John Morgan and his wife are one the biggest Democrat contributors, and have had Obama over at their Orlando area mansion a few times

No surprise in this area that Crist is going Dem....John Morgan would have never hired him otherwise

The worst thing about Crist is that his liberalness confused so many about Marco Rubio....who is not any more conservative than Crist. Rubio and Crist agree on many Dem issues, Illegal Alien Amnesty, and taxpayer funded man-made Global Warming initiatives

Floridians were robbed in the last Senate election

I had to vote for libertarian Alex Snitker for Senate...I could not stomach the two GOP RINO liberals.
