2nd 'potatoe' moment this week for campaign in Ohio
If Barack Obama carries the key swing state of Ohio in November, it wont be because he and his supporters know how to spell.
Today, at a Republican rally in Powell, Ohio, an airplane pulling a banner attempted to capitalize on Mitt Romneys joke yesterday in Michigan about not needing to show his birth certificate. The Democrats have responded by accusing Romney of having joined the birthers, and the airplane banner continued that theme.
Unfortunately, the supporters who sponsored the banner MoveOn.org, as reported by a Los Angeles Times reporter onsite failed to do a spell-check before take-off.
AMERICA IS BETTER THEN BIRTHERISM, it read, incorrectly substituting then for than.

The rally was the first time Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, have appeared together and the last public event before the pair head to Tampa for the GOP convention.

The intellectual capacity of Obamabots defies description....(see tagline)
Twitter society grammar, public skool education.
what a bunch of freaking idiots

Obama and three supporters, acting as human letters, YMCA-style, misspelled Ohio as Oiho.
However, since the poster creator is likely an indigenous “protected-class” citizen, he/she gets an
automatic ‘discrimination correction’ adjustment.
Henceforth, all Democrat persons and Media upon viewing this banner are ordered to understand the understandable mistake and to disregard its error - that is if they are even capable of understanding said mistake in the first place.
Perhaps the owner of the aerial banner company is a Republican who “didn’t build it”.
The MSM went on about Quayle’s faux-pas for years. They expended thousands of air-time minutes to hang his mistake around his neck forever.
With the current crew... not so much.
An excellent opprotunity to bring up the Eligibility issue...but we have too many in the GOP Media who side with Obama on the issue
It would be smart for the GOP Media to start adressing the Birth Cert issue....instead of attacking Birthers for bringing it up
If you are not going after Obama by now on the Eligibility issue...especially after Sherrif Arpaio’s posse found the Obama Birth Cert released to be a fraud...you are pretty much just helping Obama anyway
kinda fits with the quality of the BC Whitehouse posted
In today’s schools, the spelling represents a great try and is only one letter off. Not wanting to ruin the moonbat’s self esteem,we will give them an A+!
NO! you smell my armpits first.
Solution:Home schooling.Ask for it by name.
Wrong word choice or not, it is good to see them disturbed about their fraud candidate and out their pulling banners that remind Americans that something is probably rotten about the community organizer’s past and they want the talk about it to stop.
Unfotunately the words then and than are part of the new illiterati lexicon that cannot distinguish the difference between them. “ Your and you’re” as well as “our and are” are confused also. NEA has done a magnificent job dumbing down education.
Beyond the spelling error, what does the sign even mean?
Another good argument for privatizing schools and requiring them to teach real subjects...
Than you can now say that Moron.org is stupider then ever.
AMERICA IS BETTER THEN BIRTHERISM, it read, incorrectly substituting then for than. There are far too many people around this site that don't know the difference too.
These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.(Proverbs 6:16-19)
Think of Obama—how many of these has he broken? Proud look? (Got that) Lying Tongue (Yeah) hands that shed innocent Blood? (Maybe abortion? Kids killed in Iran/ Iraq/ etc...)
Obviously the picture was meant to be “read” from behind, otherwise how would the ObamaZots know which end was up/ down/sideway....oh forget it.
No Billy Sinclair jokes, please.
The real message may be targeted at Romney, to not bring it up again,--trying to imply American people are above the discussion (?)
They really must want to shame any discussion of Obama records...
Two things for Mr. Romney’s camp:
one. “Mr. President, why did you put America in turmoil by letting this drag on for 3 1/2 years before producing your real birth certificate?” There was no reason to keep it hidden from the American people.
Two: Mr. Romney should demand a “no-fly zone” around his campaign speeches, just like for Mr. Ozero.
There baner wuz mispeld.
...just shouting out to the First Spouse....
Oi Ho (for those in Rio Vista)
Then in place of than is becoming more and more widespread. Didn’t these people study spelling and grammar in school?!
what is Rio Vista?
don’t you mean Rio Linda?
whatever
MSM, Obama campaign instant over-reaction.. is an indication of their area of weakness and concern over public discussion of the issue.
Probably?
Who the H fakes a BC?
An ID Thief?
The current POTUS.
Just naked eyeballing the BC you can easily tell it's been Frankensteined together.
His BC comment was a good response
Irony is--- Obama was the first Birther, while promoting his book. Banner should read: America deserves better than Obama Fraud.
As can be seen all too often on FR, with the cat’s and dog’s and Nazi’s and Kennedy’s being used as plurals.
Women would rather hug than have sex.
Men would rather hug then have sex.
BWHAHAHA!!!
Reminds me of:
“Woman without her man is nothing.”
How would you punctuate that sentence?
I would offer this:
“Woman: without her, man is nothing.”
However, I have seen this:
“Woman, without her man, is nothing.”
Or something like that anyway... :-)
I thought Oiho was Obama's 58th state.
Could just be a misunderstanding on my part.
Yew should knot trust you're spell checker too ketch awl ewer mistakes...
Hmmmm: "... that don't ...", or, "... who don't ..."?
Just wondering!
I agree. The topic scares them because they know there is something fishy with the BC. I think their lame attempts to shame us into silence are having the opposite effect.
When I have been in a group of mixed political company and the topic has come up, liberals were surprised that they couldn’t shame me into silence by their ridicule. I politely but firmly stated that we have not seen the genuine BC. Sneering remarks about whether I believe he was born in Kenya were met with the answer that I do not know where he was born because the BCs that have been shown in public are fraudulent.
I tell liberals that I don’t know what the facts are and neither do they. They usually are shocked by this. Often they resort to “Everyone knows that...” or “Any rational person would agree that...” or “People who are concerned about the BC are distracting us from the important issues...” or “People who dispute the BC are racists/haters....” All of these are deflections from the the discussion of whether or not Zippy has a valid US BC and what might be on it that he is trying to hide.
:-)
Thanks!
What about Socialism? Is America better than that?
thinking about that discussion we had about airplane banners- chuckling
