Pawlenty Says ‘We’ll Know Soon Enough’

JACKSON, Mich. — After a brief speech at the opening of a campaign office here, Tim Pawlenty was asked if he would return to Michigan “when you’re vice president.”

“We’ll know soon enough,” Pawlenty, dressed in shirt sleeves, told the crowd with a chuckle.

The former Minnesota governor is believed to be on Mitt Romney’s short list of running mates and there is speculation that the choice could be made any day.

Hank Choate, the chair of the Jackson County Republicans, asked the former Minnesota governor what his schedule is like Friday, asking a question many of the reporters in the room were trying to determine.

Pawlenty answered that he would be in New Hampshire. Pawlenty is doing four events in the state Saturday for the state party and the Romney campaign.

Choate then invited Pawlenty to a barbecue here on Sept. 23.

“As the VP, we will welcome you with open arms,” Choate said.

Pawlenty then told the crowd of about 30 that Romney “can’t make a bad pick.”

Oh yes he can and one of them would be you.

I wasn’t in favor of Chris Christie for VP before this week, but am convinced he may be Romney’s only hope to fight back and put O and his “regime” in their place. Where is Newt when we need him?

This is the “boring white guy” that Brian Williams was bugging Romney about....

Rubio is best suited to GAIN the most votes.
Nevermind what the birthers say...

Speaking as a Minnesotan, I’m really glad Pawlenty was elected governor twice. But he’s the wrong choice for VP, though he would be a good member of Romney’s cabinet. Better yet, I’d like to see him run against Al Franken in 2014.

Well, in that case I'm hoping for Benjamin Netanyahu

Then choosing Arnold Schwarzenegger would indeed make more sense. We COULD win Califor-nay-yeah.

Heck, ask Pelosi to be the VP.

Who is the clown that decided “Natural Born Citizen” means both Parents must also be born on American soil?

NBC means that both parents were American citizens at the time of the child’s birth.

Anyways that’s all thrown out the window with the rest of the US Constitution thanks to Barack Obama and also thanks to John Boehner for letting it happen.

Heck, all George Soros needs to do is burn his papers and he’s eligible to be President. What he’s said verbally or in books no longer matters he’s an American citizen until proven otherwise now. That’s the new way. (at least it is unless Obama gets tossed out for it before getting voted out of office).

Pawlenty is a stand up guy and would make a great VP. However, I don’t think he will help near as much in the electoral count as Portman,Rubio, or McDonnel.

The fact that Franken was elected on Pawlenty’s watch despite plenty of evidence of fraud makes me a bit concerned about Tim’s gonads.
