Indian government officials and Sikh leaders across India were outraged by the attack that left 6 dead, including 4 Indian nationals, at a Sikh temple near Milwaukee and called on the U.S. to do more to protect Sikhs living in the United Sates. Clinton called Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna from her stop in South Africa Monday after Krishna criticized the U.S. for failed policies and a growing trend of violent incidents against religious minorities...

The best way to help the Sikhs would be to start an advertising campaign (government supported or not) which makes it clear that Sikhs are not Muslims! In fact, several revered Sikh leaders have been martyred by Muslims.

The Sikhs are definitely not Muslims and have a long history of being persecuted by and fighting against the Muslims. From everything I have heard about them, their religious tenets stress preparedness and readiness to protect their families and community. I would think that they, more than most groups, would be pro second amendment and would learn to use and carry firearms.
I can’t see how anyone could be so stupid and uninformed to attack the Sikh community. If anyone, we want these people to be our friends and allies.
